Q: Is the sponge that comes with the refill the same as the flocked sponge that is sold seperately?

I don’t use the sponge that comes with it. It’s is a quality sponge, I just use a fresh makeup wedge and foundation brush every time I use this.

Q: I need the color Amber....is it still made or did another color replace it??

Yes, amber is still available. You may have to get it on the actual Jane Iredale site.

Q: Is this a powder foundation or is it creamy?

While it is a power form, I feel it is important that it's said that this is a mineral foundation, which is nothing like normal powder. Powder looks cakey, chalky when applied as base (Reminds me of a bad era when I wore mere powder foundation, oops) I find mineral foundation is the most flattering if I am hydrated, as I've always had dry/combo skin. Dry is an issue so moisture and I know! Mineral fountain has spf but I put spf under as well as I freakle and don't want that look in massive amount. ❤

Q: What shade would be one darker than latte?

Take look at Caramel or Fawn. They are slightly darker than Latte.
