Bowie Knife
I liked that it was very reasonably priced and use made in the USA. Thought it could have been factory sharpened a little better. Wet stone took care of the problem.

Quality was not there
First I'd like to say I have serval axes and hatchets made by Estwing and I'm very happy with the quality of them. I thought the quality of the Bowie knife was not there the handle had a few bad spots on it, the blade was not very sharp and didn't come to a point (was rounded) I should have sent it back! I was going to buy the Estwing machete but I'm probably not now

Cool knife
What I wanted. It DOES NOT come sharpened. Mine had a dull enough edge it had powder coat on the”blade”. I can sharpen it myself so not a big deal but something to consider. Good solid knife otherwise.

Slick handle
As you can see I have applied a “waterproof patch &seal!This item is found in an orange /bl spray ,first letter G!Hope this helps all the non out of the box complainers..

It is nice and forged in one piece
The edge was not sharp at. It was done by hand you can tell but not done very well. Maybe I just got one and was somebody new but there should be a quality control that picks up on it.It is nice and forged in one piece. Hopefully you’ll have better luck then me.

Typical Estwing high quality. I GOT THE 6 INCHYou could use it hard for the rest of your life and never wear it out!Heavy duty! WOULD BE GREAT small CAMPING machette, steak knife, game dressing,...bone chopping rope cutting,Nice balance! ,could double as a throwing knife
