This worked great for feeding my dog after teeth extractions. The soft tip is a real plus as is takes worry out of gum bruising.

I like it because it's not like the disposable one that within days, the rubber part of the syringe just doesn't move. This moves consistently but it's too small. I wish they made larger sizes.

Overall this would be exactly what I needed to medicate my cat. However, for some reason the manufacturer decided to punch holes in the SIDES of the nipple not the end thus causing the medication to shoot out the sides.Not sure what use that could serve but it sure doesn't help feeding medication to a fussy animal.

It's too small. It's hard to get enough of anything in the syringe to dispense. As soon as you push the end in, it pushes whatever is in there out. Suction doesn't work so you have to fill from the top.

My dog absolutely refuses to take pills. She's the houdini of escaping swallowing them, no matter how much I wrestle with her or what treat I put them in. It's like wrestling an alligator, and she always manages to hide the pill and spit it out later when I'm not looking.If I just put the ground up pill into wet food, she inspects the food and smells the pill mixed in and won't eat it. She just super finicky about what she eats, like a cat!I have to grind up her heartworm or other pills and put them into something that is either liquid or pudding texture, use this syringe to squirt that into her mouth where she is forced to consume them and swallow.She still hates the whole process, but at least she actually consumes the medicine when I do this.

After many many months of trying to find a feeding syringe for my ailing Border Collie, I found this only to be able to use it 2 times before she passed away. This is a perfect syringe. It has a long hard plastic tip that covered with soft durable plastic so that the tip can't be broken off. So much easier to use as it's handle is much bigger around. Anyone syringe feeding a medium to large animal would definitely benefit from this.
