Works really well and gives a great massage
We had an older Homedics massage pad for a few years that eventually broke over time. We used it on a daily basis so we needed to replace it.This model works really well, and I like the fabric much better over the older model we had. It is lot smoother and the fabric feels more comfortable. The massager itself works well and feels better as well as it has the seat vibration, which is a plus. The control pad is sleek and has all the options to adjust the nodes to exactly where they need to go depending on your height.Note - we already have the Homedics chair that we had purchased years ago to use with our previous model. I don't know if the chair is still available, but It makes a huge difference to have the chair because it supports the massager a lot better than using a sofa or cushioned chair, plus it has a spot on the arm rest for the control to go.So if you are having trouble using this massager in a seated position, I highly recommend purchasing the Homedics chair, which is a little bit more of an investment, however it will give you a much better and more focused massage.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
The first one failed too soon and the replacement failed in less than a month. The rollers that massage your back quit working both times.

Excellent back massager!
I ordered this for my wife (she suffers from chronic back pain) for Christmas, when it got here it was immediately opened. She used it the first time that night for 15 minutes then retired to bed. She slept better than she has in years. As far as I'm concerned worth every penny it cost.

Beyond satisfied; am 6ft Laying the back of my head where the roller stops is unbelievable!!
Cons - complicated UI controls Not tall enough.Pros many!!!Tldr: this one. Am 6ft. Setting up in 3 diffent chains 2 office and 1 recliner I was disappointed.only goes halfway up back.Until I laid it on the floor and got in the perfect position pressed demo.. yes yes yaaaaaaes. W.e it does in 'demo'.I'm hooked.. she's a keeper. Not sure if I want it longer, as in demo time or length. People asking for longer demo are silly, just press demo 2x.Need longer demo or a better control ui setup. Only a world class programmer could fine tune settings anywhere near 'demo' mode. But my gudgurd is 'demo' amazing.TldrR: have had several of these over the years. Meh 😕 it is mid September and again I try the newest model. Just like the ones before I purchased this one open box with full intent of returning. broken back, farmer, motocross, etc. Do yourself a favor if ur reading; try one out.

Broke in less than 2 hrs
TLDR:1. You have to unplug it, rather than turn it off, or else the rollers "park" beyond their travel range, and break their gearing trying to go too far. (Ours was "off" for maybe 30 minutes before it broke).2. The remote is unresponsive.I really like the concept behind these massagers, and I really wanted to get one for my wife, who is constantly sore from standing at a nursing cart all day, but I couldn't find any decent reviews, so I took a gamble on this one (the "least bad" reviews) and lost. This chair will "park" the rollers when you turn it off (already a dumb idea. Leave them where you needed them, that way you don't have to find the right spot every time). The neck massager wasn't calibrated correctly, and was trying to "park" well above the end of its travel range. After maybe 30 minutes of being "off" and trying to park the neck massager, it overcame the strength of the teeth on the gears and broke free. I came out to the living room to hear a grinding noise that I couldn't stop until I unplugged it.Barring a bad calibration, useful info for you, the reader, and for the engineers who really SHOULD take this review back to the drawing board and fix the massager, is that the remote is incredibly unresponsive. You have to mash or repeatedly press the position up/down buttons in order for the rollers to realize you're trying to move them and cooperate with the given instruction. I don't know if the buttons just aren't very sensitive, or if the chair has some base programming that it defaults to, and is just very slow to realize that there's another input (picture a mountain troll realizing there's someone running around at its feet).

Managed to loosen up thoracic pain I've been living with fur a year. My old massager couldn't do it.
This thing is fantastic.

Incredible!
Bought this as a Christmas gift for a family member with lower back pain. He was gracious enough to let me try it out and now I regret giving it away. Not really. Well maybe just a little. I was amazed at how great it felt. It is able to target every inch of your back and neck. The rollers move up and down and alternate the direction of rotation so you get a very thorough massage. I was particularly impressed with the amount of pressure it delivers. Really gets in there and works out the knots. The heat feature is also quite nice. I've no doubt I'll be purchasing another one for myself in the very near future.

Good, with big caveats
This is my first time buying a massage cushion. I've been dealing with a crushed L4/L5 disc and a lot of muscular pain for the past 2-3 years. Overall this massage cushion helps tremendously with my pain.A few people have commented on height issues related to it. I'm 5'4" and overall I think the zones are pretty good for my height. The only real complaint that I have is with the height sensing, which is a huge thorn in this cushion. When you turn it on the headrest tries to work it's way down to detect your height. In my case, the headrest goes down, and down, and down, until it crushes my shoulder blades because it didn't stop. The headrest motor assemblies and back assemblies pinch my bones as if they're detecting me to be far shorter than I am. This is very troubling and making me reconsider the purchase. I can manually adjust the headrest, but it has to finish it's height detection before you have any control. It can't remember positioning as it resets every time it turns off.Great product once it gets going, but it's very possible that the height adjustment process will ruin this experience for me.
