These are not as thick as I would like for keeping any light out. I have double bagged my potatoes and it seems to work.

Excellent for storing vegetables
Super simple method for storing root vegetables, sturdy, useful size for a 2-4 person household. Jute can shed flecks a bit but if you’re storing veg in a cool dry cupboard or garage, that’s easy to sweep up. Satisfying using a reusable natural product.

Excellent Sacks
The sacks were ordered to store potatoes. Well worth the investment, I put one sack inside another to keep the light out and I no longer have sprouting spuds.

better than the paper sacks if damp or get rotten potato causing paper bag to disintegrate, should last a few seasons

They was good but didn’t hold for what I was using them for as well as being smaller than I thought

Sheds alot
They did the job for what i needed them for. But they shed alot of little hairs which when it gets on you is very very itchy. So just be aware of that.
