Standard Horizon HX400 w/Built-in Scrambler & LMR Programmable Channels

Q: Can the radio transmit and receive on channels 22A, 83A, 143.28MHz, 123.1MHz, 122.9 MHz, ALL 156-158MHZ, 2670KHz, and/or 2182KHz

This radio can only TX between 134-174 MHz. It comes with the 88 marine band frequencies built in and also allows for up to 40 LMR VHF channels to be programmed within this frequency band.

Q: When the radio is in the desktop charger you cannot transmit while in the charger. you have to remove the battery to re-set it.

All I have ever done is remove from the charger & it works as it should. I have never removed the battery. Good luck, maybe contact Horizon of this issue?

Q: What programming software should i use for the 40 lmr channels ? yce13 does not work.

YCE13 is for the HX380 & HX400 with firmware version 2.0 or later. The CE138 may work for your radio.

Q: Can the radio receive on two channels simultaneously?

The radio can scan or dual watch a couple channels but no, it cannot receive two channels simultaneously.
