The Picture of Dorian Gray

This has been on my TBR for quite a while. I am so happy to add it to my library and to finally give it a read. Fast shipping, great quality and price

Had to read this book in hs. But now in college, I am rereading, still such a fantastic read.

Great book I love it.

Thoroughly thought provoking, sat there and thought about it for a good hour after I finished it. Highly recommend it.

great condition, the spacing was great and it came fast

I am an English major who had heard of this book but knew little of the story line. I bought the book hoping for a supernatural, Edgar Allan Poe-like tale but instead got a dose of heavily descriptive prose. I am envious of Oscar Wilde's insightfulness into the human consciousness and his wordsmithing, but I found reading the book tedious. I skipped paragraphs and may have missed something. To me the book was a short morality tale wrapped in ad nauseum 1890ish London societal descriptions. This is college-level, not really entertaining, reading.

Get it!!! Relaxing 📚

Of the last 30 books I've read, this one has the smallest text. It's so small that I'll need to use reading glasses to read it, which, at 46, feels pretty bad. I would've preferred a book with larger text but I guess I should've researched this printing more. As far as the book itself, I haven't read it yet and am not sure I will because, even though it's a fairly small book, the text is so extremely dense that I'm really appreciating Vonnegut more and more.
