Good for little sized people
It's a good thing but did not benefit me because of of my feet case, it may be more suitable for much slimmer people

Design Failure
This item totally failed. The strength of the compression sock 'closed' the item sufficiently tightly, and resulted in no room to place a foot!

Brilliant
I recently had a hip replacement and just cannot bend down to put anything on my feet but this solved my problems 100per cent

Stocking puller
I was recommended this gadget by a professional Podiatrist, it will indeed allow one to fit socks reasonably easily but it doesn’t really help with compression stockings, for a start the plastic part where you install sock/ stocking gets squeezed inwards at the open top making it really difficult to get a size 10 foot in there also as you try to pull the device upwards as directed it tends to leave the stocking. As I have said previously this IS NOT THE PROBLEM WITH ORDINARY SOCKS.

My new best toy!
After a hip replacement putting your socks on can be difficult. This was recommended to me by my daughter in law whose father also had a new hip. I use it every day now. Works so much better than you would imagine

a decent aid for normal socks
My 83 yr old father has found this sort of works for a pair of normal socks - he has painful toes and cannot really push very much with his legs and so getting the foot into the sock without discomfort is difficult, even with the device - with compression socks it did not work at all as the sock squeezes the 'mouth' of device, distorting the space your foot should enter and he couldn't get his foot in at all.I think he will just place this aside and consider it a big faff and not really much use at all. :(
