Great quality, nice looking, decent privacy
So I've never been a huge fan of these as I tend to think they look kinda cheesy and cheap...but so do chain link fences in my opinion. I decided to take a chance so I could gain a little privacy from our neighbors and keep our dog from barking at them...the chain link fence isn't going anywhere so might as well embrace it. I also have flower beds along this fence that tend to fade into the back ground of their yard so I'm excited to see all my plants pop against the more solid fence look.I almost cheaped out and went with ones that were half the price but I'm glad I didnt. These aren't cheap, but well worth it. They are wide enough to fill the whole space available for each slat. Obviously the joint where it's all connected leaves a little open strip but that's it. When looking straight on you can still see through but it gives decent privacy. The slats are well made and sturdy and easy to install, the don't bend easily and that helps you get them pushed all the way down. As others mentioned, I also didn't use the bottom channel, it's not really needed unless you want that extra inch of coverage at the bottom. The slats are tight when in place and won't move easy so the locking channel isn't needed in my fence to keep them in place so just opted to eliminate that step. I kept them just in case for some reason they get lose, easy to add on later if needed.I attached some photos of the end result looking straight on. But also just the first test panel I did. You can see that looking at them from the left you can see through pretty easy, maybe 65% coverage. Straight on privacy goes up to about 90%. But looking from the right it's 100%. It's kinda like a blind slat just depends on the angle how much you can see through. The slats sit at a slight angle when inserted but that's just the natural angle created by the chain link. Nothing you can do about it but overall I'm very happy with the result and the product. I'm glad I spent more to get a good quality product that offers as much coverage as possible. Time will tell if the fade in the sun, hopefully not. But I'm really happy with how this turned out and love the added privacy!Oh and I'd suggest to measure your panels. I ordered one pkg to test before spending a bunch to do the whole fence. I wanted to make sure I liked it first. Anyway the test section I did used one whole package. So I just counted the remaining panels (8) and ordered more... easy right!? Lol Well each section isn't exactly the same width. I currently have a whole package left...I still have more to do as I work my way up the driveway so they'll get used. But one package does about 10' maybe a few inches more. So I'll be measuring each remaining section so I don't buy more than I need.Overall great quality product, great privacy, highly recommend.

I purchased these for the fence behind my barn. I was actually done in 45 minutes and they work GREAT for obstructing the view.

would be a '5' star if they would have......
The only reason I gave it a 4 star is for the lack of clear instructions. The product worked great for us because the opening size of our chain link was perfect. We had 2" to 2 1/8' opening and the slats filled it nicely for a very private outcome. If the size of our openings were larger (as shown on the website) I don't think I would think it was worth the money. It does not take a rocket scientist to install it, but unless you've done it before or saw it done it doesn't make sense. The instructions are very minimal and could have been so much better to have better instructions. Once we figured it out, it was fast and easy to install

Very Pleased With The Product
My chain link fence is 4 ft. high, 50 ft long with 2 ¼” diamonds. I purchased the 4 ft slats to provide the privacy I required, and I am quite pleased with the results. When installed, the slats fell below the height of the fence. They stood at about 46 inches high compared to the 48” of the fence. Installation of the product was a breeze! The coverage provided by each package of 82 slats provided went beyond the 10 linear feet. Please note that the viper channels are less than 48 inches in length. They were still long enough when placed end to end to accommodate 81of the 82 slats provided. With a little creativity accommodating all 82 slats can be achieved by leaving a slight gap between the viper channels. This will allow all 82 slats to be fitted perfectly. With the slats installed I discovered that the percentage privacy varied slightly depending on the angle at which the fence is viewed. This is because the fundamental design of chain link fences caused the slats to be slightly angled when inserted. This is unavoidable since this is an inherent design of the chain link fence. At one extreme angle of view the percentage of privacy was 100% while at the opposite extreme angle the privacy was closer to 90%. In general, the overall percentage of privacy the slats provided was perfect for my requirements. I will be completing my 50 ft fence in short order. I am hoping the material will be able to withstand harsh weather conditions to ensure extended life of the product. Although these slats are costlier than other solutions, they are the only ones that provided the exact solution I required. So far, I am very happy with my purchase, and I would unreservedly recommend this product anytime.

Work as Expected
These work as expected. When you look straight at them, you can't see through them. If you look at an angle you can kind of see out them. Our main purpose for using these was to try and help prevent our dogs from barking at everyone passing on the street. We have a gate on the front side of the fence where we were installing these. So, even though they prevented the dogs from seeing out the majority of the fence, it didn't stop them from seeing out around the gate. Which means...the dogs still barked and these weren't a big enough help.We also live in a windy area and when all the slats on the fence were filled with these strips, it made the gate very difficult to open/close when the wind was high. I don't see a way around this due to how they need to be installed in order to work properly.Ultimately, we decided not to use these because they aren't the right product for us, but that doesn't mean they aren't a good product. In fact, they were easy to install and somewhat easy to uninstall and they worked as advertised. So, that's why I'm giving them a good rating. It's not their fault they didn't solve our issues.
