Q: Will the light cause my iPhone camera to strobe?

Q: How large an object can I photograph with this 30cm lightbox?

Hello, here is a video for your reference. We generally recommend photographing objects under 20cm with this 30cm lightbox, under 26cm with the 40cm lightbox. And you can also change the intensity of the light and the backdrop to suit your objects. Hope this helps.

Q: Would this work for photographing old photos?

Not especially well. Photos used to be reproduced by having the picture on a flat surface, the camera mounted direcy above and a light source each side at about a 45 degree angle to avoid reflection. Although this box is great for photographing small items/ products etc, I think old photos would be best captured by useing a scanner these days

Q: Do you need to charge it? Ive just received this, gine to chevk it works. I have it plugged in but the light is instantly flicking off.

No, don’t need to charge it. Contact the seller. I had a very minor issue with a slight mark on the backboard but the seller was brilliant.
