Previous green plastic trimmer wire kept breaking; almost immediately after reloading...why??? I am not sure but suspect its due to not being used for a long time.SO, I searched online for another which I hoped being brand new and a well reviewed brand would be much more durable and perform as needed.This wire, with it's increased thickness was well priced, arrived quickly and well packed, and seems at least from my quick test use to be a good choice.Will update if not worthy of 5 stars.

I needed some new strimmer line for my old Bosch strimmer, but couldn't find a specification for that model anywhere.Initially I tried a random 2.4 mm line, which turned out to be too thick. It wasn't very easy to wind onto the spool, it was vicious, and not very much went on. On the plus side, it was very tough and did not break at all easily.After that, I knew that I needed something thinner, so I plumped for this Shark-Tuff line at 1.6 mm diameter. As predicted, I got far more of it on the spool and if was easier to manage when winding it on. The downside is that the 'Tuff' bit in the name is just a marketing word, it's meaningless. It's not tough.Compared to the 2.4mm line, it breaks very easily, which on my old strimmer means a brief disassembly job to get the line out again.The price of this line was OK, and I might conceivably buy it again, but not before trying another make first to see if there is any improvement on the breaking situation. So, to summarise, it's adequate, but nothing special.

Im delighted with this Strimmer cord .ld thought because it was universal it really wouldn't be suitable for my"expensive top of the range Strimmer." How wrong was l.....it works perfectly. Its durable and great value for money. I'm delighted with it.

I brought this for a Titan Strimmer that I have, which I couldn't find a direct replacement for. This offered good value and provides a lot of strimmer line. I found it difficult to load, but that's a reflection on me, not the product. Though it is very tightly wound, so keeps that curl which makes it tricky. But I had the luxury of a pre-loaded spool before, so this could be my loading error!The spool isn't really tough I don't think. I purchased the 2.0mm and whilst it cuts well, it wears down very quickly. I definitely had to pull more line out, more often than I had to previously.Overall, it's ok. It fits my strimmer and does the job, so I'll keep using it. But I'll probably look for a different option when I need a new line again.
