Easy to set up and operate. Works really well and spreads a lot of water. A keeper.
One of the best!Thishyear sprinkler? Oh yeah, it's one of the best. The orange tab system to widen or narrow the output of water from it is simple, yet, in most instances, works very well - you have to get used to nudging the tabs with your thumb - that way you're most likely to move the tab one space at a time, rather than it sliding through two or three positions, then be to wide or narrow. Just use a little patience and common sense. This thing shoots water a long way, and gets it done in good time, using alot of water in full open mode, less, of course, if you're throttling it back. Very easy to control and spreads the water out really well. As you can tell, I'm a fan of this little guy. It gets the job done, and that very well. You won't go wrong with this one. Make sure to remember to bring it inside for the winter; water settles in the body of it, and will break it open when if freezes - that's how I lost my last one. My fault. So, there ya go. Pick up on this one,

So adjustable and awesome!
This sprinkler is awesome. I love how adjustable it is. I put it on the low setting and to hardly move to soak my flower beds. Then I put it on the highest pressure and turn everything on fully, and it gets every single part of my garden, and our garden is a very big area. It takes me around 2+ hours to water my flower beds and garden with the hose and with it now being so hot I don’t want to be standing out there doing that. With the sprinkler, I set it in each spot for about 8-10 min to soak the area, I did 25 min for my garden, and I go and do something else while the timer is going. I’m definitely considering getting 2 more as we have 3 hoses and I can get 3 spots watered at once. Seriously this sprinkler is awesome and is saving me from standing in the heat!

Good for raised bed or grow bag gardens
So far so good! Needed a raised sprinkler for my grow bag garden, and this one had good reviews.Notes: The plastic quick connector leaks so I replaced with brass. There is a seal at the top of the tripod that you can loosen to pull up the sprinkler head. That pulls up the part underneath where you attach the hose. Some reviewers complained it tipped over. I had that problem, but discovered I needed a leg in front of the sprinkler head to keep it steady.See photos.

Favorite Sprinkler by Far!
I've had three of these, the Spike version.Unfortunately the spike can break and bend easily when inserting it into hard Earth. However, if your careful, using another spiked object to make a hole first, this sprinkler's spike works great too.Once installed it's absolutely perfect for about a year in the hot sun, and then the adjustment tabs rot / disintegrate from the sun's awesome power. Also the rubberized nozzle tips rot in the sun after about a year as well. But if you can get a sale around twenty bucks, it's well worth it. I use the narrow (straight up, vertical) pattern alongside my property line on the west, and adjust the east spray pattern out a bit to cover a part of my yard, it perfect for "strip" coverage! The spray shoots taller than the house and 30 to 40 feet out! Very impressive! I've read about quality issues with the non-Spike versions which simply don't exist in the Spike version. If I can keep these from sun damage they would last forever, perhaps I'll rub them down once a week with SPF-100 lotion :-)

Liked it so much bought two more
I purchased this sprinkler as I have a narrow strip of garden that I thought this might sprinkle well without watering my neighbors yard. It absolutely did exactly what I needed. I like the ability to adjust the width of the sprinkle. I like that I can place additional sprinklers in series with each other. My only complaint was that the reach of the sprinkler is not quite long enough for me but I am not sure if that is a sprinkler problem, a water timer problem or a water pressure problem. I am purchasing a shorter hose (had a 100 foot hose on it) to see if that helps the pressure.

Good Products, Great Customer Service
Sometimes the product leaves a little to be desired. Like this one; the end broke off as I was releasing the hose connection. So why the 5 Star? Because their customer service team is TOP NOTCH. They listen, and they fix whatever the problem is, no hassle, no bickering, they just take care of their customers. When I am looking for lawn care equipment I ALWAYS look at Melnor first. They have great products, and this particular product is ingenious. But I look first because they have a GREAT customer service team, that actually speaks English.

You need this sprinkler
This is a great sprinkler, it is quiet and the best part is the ability to adjust the spray width and length without adjusting the water force at the spigot. You can easily adjust the sprinkler to suit various lawn or garden areas. I was concerned about the lightweight plastic base but it does stay put without having to be secured. It covers a larger area than my previous fan sprinkler which changed my 5 zone sprinkler routine down to 4 zones saving me precious time. I also purchased the same sprinkler with a spike instead of a base for areas where the base could not sit flat. Cannot recommend this enough, give it a try.

Awesome design (except for the connector)
Love the versatility of this sprinkler head. Can do all kinds of ranges and intensities. I'm kind of leery of this sprinkler being entirely plastic but only time will tell. I knocked off a star for the plastic quick connector - its TRASH. Automatically started leaking when I plugged it in. I removed it and put my hose directly into the unit. No leaks detected. Looking forward to watering the problem areas in my lawn!
