Extremely useful book
I’ve read over 70 self-improvement books over the last 5/6 years, with a good few of them being sales-focused. This was by far my favourite as it breaks it all down extremely well. It also doesn’t drag on too. 220 pages is enough. Would recommend this to anyone in the New Business game.

Fantastic direct and practical advice on to plan and make sales calls
My background is in technology and investments. I have no sales experience what so ever. I've made outbound research calls (100+) but in those cases I was always the client/potential investor.Right now I am starting my own company (software) and I need to make sales call to generate business.This book is fantastic and tells you exactly what to do. How to make a cold call, how to plan a sales meeting etc. It's very direct and practical. I love it and would definitely recommend to others learning how to make sales calls. I've been re-reading sections as I plan my sales calls.

Simply Great!
This book does what it says on the tin, it offers a simple approach to selling. Weinberg does a superb job of building up the narrative whilst offering numerous points to skip ahead and find the information you need. His approach to sales isn't anything revolutionary but it is written in such a way as to remind the salesman of how simple selling is. There are great tips on how to approach sales in the modern age and the book does a good job of dispelling some silly sales jargon and "new ideas".

I feel like a born again salesman!
I've been in sales for over 20 years and must have bought at least 50 sales books. I can honestly say this one is never leaving my side. I had already read some of Mike's blogs and couldn't get enough of his insight and style of writing. I was excited to buy the book and just by reading through the content section I knew it was a very smart investment. Chapters such as 'A simple framework for developing new business', 'Selecting targets', 'Sharpening your sales story' give you the ideal framework for new business success.You will read this book and be able to quickly put a smart plan together. I put together a power statement as Mike suggests, from this I created my telesales and email pitch. I sent two cold emails using this framework and I quickly had an email back requesting a meeting, that just never happens!!! The book also prepares you for face to face meetings and it will totally change your story from talking about yourself, your company, product or service to just talking about the client and their pains/challenges. As the title says, it's new sales but simplified. Mike has a straight forward, humorous style making this a very easy and insightful read.I think when you have been in sales a long time, you just almost want to unlearn it all. This book strips away all the bad habits you've probably formed over time and offers you the perfect way forward for new business generation, for today and for the future. I feel like a born again salesman who has returned from the darkness and finally seen the light! Do yourself and your company a massive favour and invest in this fantastic book, I guarantee it will not leave your side either.Bravo Mike!

An essential read for any Company Director, Sales Manager or Salesperson!
I recently bought a few books as I was doing some research into sales prospecting and found this one head and shoulders above the others. It was utterly refreshing to read a book written by a person with a prolific sales background that simply cut to the chase. There was none of the 'fluff' that I have often encountered in reading such books. Mike Weinberg clearly knows his stuff and presents it in a frank manner that makes it very easy reading for anyone. Once I picked it up I found it very hard to put down and would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone in sales or anyone running their own business. BRILLIANT and worth every penny!

Great read
During lockdown 2.0,I wanted to get back into learning mode , and having followed and listened to Mike Weinberg on his You Tube channel I thought worth getting this book , and could not put it down once I started , really useful reminders and pointers for anyone in the sales environment be they old or new , and have re-read and highlighted many pages for reference for now, and in the future.

A truly game-changing book
Mike is the voice of reason I have been waiting for over the last few years. It seemed like every page I turned in New Sales Simplified sparked an epiphany moment for me. Mike is direct and to the point - a tone that is simply missing from most of the so-called sales fluff out there. Throughout my first read of the book (I will be reviewing and reading again monthly - it is that good), it really felt as though I was in a dialogue with Mike. Every chapter forced me to ask myself challenging questions and to look deeply at my own behavior and assumptions. I work in an industry that is all about using the "new and flashy" methodologies for selling etc. New Sales Simplified has gotten me fired up to go back to the basics and re-think a lot of my approach.Thank you Mike - you are amazing!

Big picture view
An interesting book where Mike provides a structured approach to gaining new business. The ideas within the book, if followed verbatim, would clearly lead to a strong growth in business but would have a disruptive influence on the internal organisational house keeping activities, e.g. attending meetings as the "sales rep", responding to "for your information" e-mails and reading pointless internal reports. Mike suggests, and I agree with him, that if organisations want strong new business growth, the sales team needs to be at the heart of the company's business strategy and strongly supported.A great read for all sales professionals, whether a hunter or a zoo keeper.

Great book, lots of tangible insights
Very good sales book. Focus on fundamentals of prospecting and other sales process. Lots of tangible insights and practice that any sales person can use right away.

Author had a deep & rich practical knowledge of what he talks about
I loved the book for that the author talks very pragmatic and from real world experiences he gained. Highly recommended for someone who enjoys reading peoples pragmatic and realistic knowledge rather than theory based. Pragmatism connects you faster to the ground realities.

My Number One resource for making sales!!
This is absolutely the best book on selling that I’ve ever read!! This book is so important to me, that I have it as my number one resource, which I look through often as I am preparing for meetings and preparing for discovery calls. You’ll find that there’s a lot of books out there that speak about how to close or how to take control of the conversation. One of the best things I like about this book is that it keeps the selling process simple yet powerful. I’ve come to realize that selling is rather simple if you keep it to a process. This book helps you keep to that simple process that leads to massive sales.Thank you very much Mike from the bottom of my heart for taking all your experience and putting it into this book! Comprei esse livro por acreditar que não tinha as qualidades necessárias para ser um vendedor, mas esse livro me mostrou que metodologia e disciplina são essenciais no alcance do sucesso, assim como em muitas áreas da vida.Meu respeito por vendedores de verdade aumentou tremendamente. A maioria dos vendedores são ruins. Acredito que esse livro tem um forte potencial para aqueles que realmente tem a perseverança e disciplina para tratar vendas não como um talento natural, mas também como um processo.
