Birthday 🥳 present, greeted with delight.

Decided to buy first five Zeppelin albums. Only Houses of the holy to arrive. Zep 3 has always been my favourite. The cover is an exact replica. Mr. Page has done an excellent job regarding the contents. So far, they all sound superb. Pleased I bought them. Waiting for Physical Graffiti availability then no more. I am wondering 'how many more times' are they going to be remastered? This lot do sound a lot better and the sound staging is definitely improved. A really pleasant listening experience. Since i've been loving you sounds amazing. If the original multi track tapes are still available they should be remixed using today's technology. That would be interesting. Maybe that is next. Who knows?

Bought this for my Grandson who’s tuned his ears into Led Zep…he loves the album.

These remastered albums on heavyweight vinyl are an absolute must, even if you're old enough to have bought the originals. Rather than an engineer changing the sound Jimmy Page has recaptured the original essence of the music with all the power and majesty intact but now with 'added clarity'. What really sets these reissues apart is the separation between instruments and the tiniest details, just as it should be including the ambience of recording studios on acoustic tracks and even a creaking chair. The covers are faithful reproductions of the originals but with better quality printing and finish, on Zeppelin III the brass stud holding the wheel in place had been replaced with a smoother longer lasting design. The vinyl itself is dead flat, the grooves are very very quiet and beautifully shiny. Also they are as heavy and sturdy as a table top. Things of sheer beauty better sounding than the original and a wonderful bargain.

For many years the third Led Zeppelin album was considered a curiosity (especially with those people who were asking where's my 'Whole Lotta Love' parts 2, 3 and 4) when compared to the first two albums. Led Zeppelin III is very much the template of what makes Led Zeppelin the greatest band in history. Sure, there is the piercing intro of 'Immigrant Song' but then there is gentleness of 'That's the Way' or the build in crescendo of 'Since I've Been Loving You'. Listening to the new box set, you hear the development of each of the tracks to the final cut, but more than that, it was just great to kick back, put on an old friend and remember the days when I first put on a second hand version of a scratched Led Zeppelin III from 'Reddington Rare Records' in Birmingham and thought; 'YES'!
