Works Great Using Samsung's "Smart View" Feature
Although I haven't tried the HDMI or AV cable connection options, I was delighted to discover that while using the "Android Mirroring" setting on the projector and the "Smart View (Mirror Screen)" feature on my Samsung Galaxy S22+ smartphone (as noted on Page 10 of the well-written manual), I could connect my phone to the projector without needing to be on the same WiFi network, which was precisely what I was looking for so I could use the projector outdoors or while traveling.Apparently, Google and Motorola phones prohibit screen mirroring, but some other Android phones may offer a similar "mirroring" feature that does not require being on the same WiFi network. If they don't, I'd expect you to be able to connect a Chromecast device to the projector's HDMI connection in the same way that you can connect a Firestick (per page 15 of the manual). One thing is for certain. The "Smart View" feature allows you to connect a Samsung phone to the projector without having to be on the same WiFi network. The manual states that Netflix and Hulu do not support "mirroring" due to "copyright issues". So, with those apps, you would be unable to use the mirroring feature. I just need to stream YouTube or Amazon Prime to the projector, and mirroring from my Samsung phone works wonderfully in both scenarios.

Definitely Worth It
I needed a small portable projector for a volunteer committee I sit on the board of, so I could project my laptop screen at our monthly meetings. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg, and this fit the bill. Honestly, better than expected. It comes with the projector, a small tripod, hdmi cable, power cord, rca cables, and a remote. The best part is, it all fits in the small box and you can keep everything in there! I plugged it in and plugged in an hdmi from my laptop, selected "English" for my language, selected "hmdi" and boom! Ready to go! There are buttons on the projector itself too, so even if you lose the remote (inevitable), you can still operate the projector with ease. It even has speakers! There is a focus knob and a tilt knob. So far, I am really pleased with this purchase, and now I might need to get a portable screen and have an outdoor movie night with the fam!

Size
Decent product- but photo is extremely deceiving. Device is MUCH large than shown in photo. Was looking for a mini projector—- this is not mini

Multi-purpose-budget projector
Received the item earlier than expected... set up was easy to follow... very convenience due to the mini size... just got it for less than week... nice and sharp picture on a home white wall as screen... works well for movies and a home work station as a budget monitor... so far so good... worth the money...

Bluetooth doesn't work for Pixel phones
Update: After I returned the projector, the seller emailed my to offer a refund (or a replacement, since I'd already returned my purchase). They didn't ask me to amend my review, but I appreciated that level of attention to product satisfaction! The free I've was mailed quickly. Aside from not being able to connect wirelessly to Pixel phones, the projector works well and is easy to use. The quality is worth the price for sure.----------Original review: I bought this (more expensive) version specifically because of the Bluetooth feature, advertised to work with Android phones and iPhones. Only after opening everything up and reading the instruction booklet did I learn that the wireless Bluetooth feature doesn't work for Google Pixel phones. While I'm thankful that the manufacturer specified this in the manual, I wish it had been specified in the item description! There's no mention of Pixel phones in the listing, so I'm writing this review for any other Pixel users who may be looking to use the wireless Bluetooth feature. (I'll be sending this back, and crossing my fingers that the 20% off coupon for the regular version is still available once I get the refund.)

Did not with a Mac laptop with MacOS monterey - will work with new MAC
I was not able to get this to work with my 2012 MAC laptop with MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 with only a USB port.My freind with a new laptop, with a HDMI to USB-C adapter did get it to work well.Knowing this I tired 3 different HDMI to USB adapters off of amazon. None would see the projector.I also googled and it said install drivers for the HDMI adapters ....well....ah...yeah, NO. There are no drivers on the internet to make an HDMI adapter work! That was a huge waste of time!! I contacted Apple and they were like, what are you talking about??So, never worked. Just projected on my wall “NO SIGNAL”.Once I got it to show a video from my new iphone that was the size of a postcard on the wall. I backed up as big as my room would go - to about 15’ and it Got to be the size of a shoe box. I think there may be a way to make that larger that the company sent to me. For my purposes I needed to it be from my laptop however. There’s only two options that the instructions say to get it going =S, then HDMI so very basic, if your device will see it.I also tried other projectors and had the same issue. So I come away fairly sure an older MAC wont work. And nope.So I give it 3 stars. 🤷♀️May be great, however, I can't use it.
