Adapter does exactly as advertised. Product works. More expensive, worth the price.

Not just an adapter.
This thing lets you use HDMI cables if they are old, new, 4K, 8K. I also connected a 1080p aux out from a DJI RC2 remote control to an old 720 TV.

Runs A Bit Hot
It works as supposed, but after using it only a few hours it overheated and caused all sorts of connection issues then complete loss of picture. Going to test it a while longer to make sure this is not related to anything else unnoticed. But for now it stays at 3 stars.

Absolutely Perfect!
I can almost never say this about other products, but this is absolutely perfect!The build quality is solid, the chord is braided, and the performance is fabulous.Fast response, plug and play right out of the box.Used it on my Samsung phone to watch streams full-screen, and played games from my Steam Deck.I did try to use it on my laptop, but it turns out it doesn't support HDMI over USB. Still give this product maximum marks, since that's not the adapter's fault.

Got item what didn't work but Anker reached out to me and send replacment
The first adapter I received didn't work and I left a review. After that, the anchor contacted me and offered a replacement or a full refund, I decided to try the replacement and it works as it should.

FALSE PRODUCT INFORMATION. DO NOT BUY
This product claims to support 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz but it does NEITHER. It doesn't even support 120hz on 1080p. I included pictures with one using a regular anker usb-c hub and the other using this product. For reference, I am using an M3 Pro Max with an LG UltraGear 240Hz.DO NOT BUY!!
