Using as primary dresser for setting initial bevel on new grinding wheels for my Simington 451c square grinder. This will extend the life of the much more expensive diamond dressers mounted to the grinder. My idea worked out just right due to the quality and cost of this dresser.

if you want to dress wheels for a surface grinder you will need to read another revue. I can shape aluminum oxide and green wheels easy to shape HSS for special purpose. works great for that.

Absolutely unacceptable JUNK ! It was not a 0ne carret diamond. As I was dressing my wheel the diamond became unattached from the holder.

I am using this tool to dress a stone grinder that is considerably out of round. To accomplish this task, a jig must be constructed which will tightly hold the tool point at a specific point in front of the rotating stone. The goal is to remove only the high part of circle formed by the grinding stone. My grinding stone turns at 60 RPM and as it is turning, the tool and jig are slid across the face of the stone. The user must have lots of patience as to do this correctly, only a small amount of material is removed at each pass of the tool point.
