Great kettle seems very sturdy fast boil the only downside is it gets very hot and you have to be careful when you pick it up

Overall a very nice kettle. I was able to purchase when it was on offer and I saved a fair amount. I do feel that the full price is too expensive given my concerns. The on off switch is plastic and if this fails (which others have reported) it costs £80 to repair this takes around two weeks and you have to pay for the return even if it’s within the one year warranty! Amazon as far as I’m aware replace with two years or if you’re paying full price I would consider another well known retailer that will provide a two year warranty. Water remains in the bottom of the kettle even if turned upside down and in hard water areas not ideal. I could see limescale even after a two weeks usage so I descaled it with vinegar and now use filtered water which has helped a lot.It’s not noticeable noisy but quiet is an overstatement, although, to be fair it’s better than other kettles.I think 3 1/2 stars

great kettle fast boil large capacity and looks great you only get what you pay for

Might be more expensive than some on the market but this is a very classy looking kettle. It's relatively quiet compared to my old delonghi and boils a litre of water quite quickly - maybe slightly slower than the marketing would suggest, but it's marginal. All-in-all I'm very pleased with it.

Weighs a ton. Lid is very difficult to open especially wen hot. very expensive. It ended up in the cupboard as the spare in spite of the cost.
