Yes it slips into the bulkhead and can be removed fairly easy

Q: Is this bulkhead slip x slip for hardpiping underneath and can the strainer slip onto pipe the strainer will go on top of durso and hardpipe under.

This bulkhead is slip interior on both ends. The strainer slips inside the bulkhead. That means the strainer OD is 1".

Q: i have 2" holes in my tank is the flanges large enough to cover my holes or do i need a 1" bulkhead with a 2.5"flange? what im asking is how wide?
