I'm just getting started with studio lighting and needed an inexpensive, quick setup to play around with. After reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance on RALENO and I'm honestly glad I did. This kit has everything you need to take great photos/videos. It's quick & easy to put it all together, the lights are good and the backdrop is huge. Love the heft of the screens, they aren't see-through and seem well made. VERY good value for the money.Best of all the company stands behind their product. This kit has a lot of plastic pieces, and my kit had a few snags. One of the stands had a problem with the screw and didn't want to stand straight, along with a bulb that didn't work and an issue with the crossbar. They were quick to respond to my email, and went over and above to make sure I quickly got a replacement and was happy (thanks for all your help Cassie!). Really great customer service.As others have said, this is a complete studio setup and a steal for the price. It's not pro quality build, but it is sturdy enough to get started and get some good use out of before you level up. Customer service is very helpful and they'll get you sorted out quickly if you have any problems.The downsides are minimal. Everything is adjustable, and if you like jigsaw puzzles you may be able to get it all back in the handy travel bag. I'm not so optimistic I can do it - definitely follow the reviews that mention taking a pic at unboxing. And the reflector is so small as to be laughable. But then you're not buying this for the reflector. There's a lot of plastic, and it's obviously not an industrial/pro grade setup. That said, I'm very happy with everything I got for the price. Excellent value, excellent customer service.

It was a great setup worked out perfect for my birthday photo shoot. My son managed to capture some great shots. The only thing my son stated he didnt like was that he couldn't control the lights

First off: I have a friend who has been acting for decades. He spent 7 years in LA so he knows his way around a studio. He looked at all of the equipment in this box and was pretty impressed by all of it. When he heard it was only $150 his jaw dropped an he said it 'is a steal."You do get a LOT in here. You get two soft boxes which are nice and bright. Then you get two light dispensers (which look like umbrellas and give off a softer light) the green screen with three different colored sheets -green, white, and black- for backgrounds.It is all very easy to put together and quite large. The screen in my pictures only has 3 of the four poles used to hang the sheets. Speaking of sheets, the screens themselves are nice. They feel like bed sheets and seem like they'll hold up for a while.You can adjust the height for everything- the lights and the screen so you can suit it to whatever need you have!If you want a good entry point into youtubing or object creating this is a great setup to own!

I loved this larger setup, however the enclosed green screen doesn't seem to fit the full dimensions of the frame. It's great for sitting still in front of it, but if you have to do any movement, this will not work in your favor. Since there are only 3 clips and the screen doesn't feed through any of poles, the screen doesn't stay tight to the setup. We had to add additional clips to help reduce the wrinkles and shadows. Mind you, we couldn't get rid of them completely.The lighting that came with the kit was good. It was helpful to have two umbrellas and two box lights.Our church used it for our Christmas production and it was difficult to get the kids to do what they needed to do and not have it going everywhere. Some of it may be due to user error since it was our first time with this kind of setup.Overall build quality was worth it for the money. It was easy to setup and take down. The tripods for the screen were difficult to get even and stay even.Tips we found out after using:-Make sure you use some of the lighting for the actual green screen to light it. We found the umbrella lighting best for people and the box lighting best to light the green screen-There were times we used additional lighting to help light the green screen, so just something to keep in the back of your head.

It works great. The size of it makes it easy to put wherever you want. Definitely worth the money! It was cheaper than what I thought it was going to be, which is great.

Before I get into it I just want to say that I wanted this item for one specific project and it is going to work out just fine for that.You daren't tighten anything too much on the cheaply made and flimsy tripods because (as I did) you will strip the threads.The lights all worked, I'm not a photographer but I will be using those for other things. The extra light bulb was a nice touch.The sheet for the back drops are like bed sheets. I'm reasonably certain I can iron the white sheet and set it up for the cyclotron effect with additional lighting and the lights provided but I'm not 100%.It all comes in a kit bag and is very easy to assemble. The one good thing about the cheap tripods is that they're easy to move around. It comes with a green bed sheet and a black one also. I've not tested the green screen out with chromakeying or anything but I think it will work fine.All in all I'd say the quality of the product is reflected in the price.Overall I'm reasonably happy with my purchase. The lights and screens have utility for me beyond this one small project I got them for.
