Pleasantly surprised to say the least
I don't usually bother to offer product reviews, but felt compelled to in this case, this little radio is great, full-sounding speaker and easy to operate, but the best feature is its reception which is notably better than name brand small portable radios that are more expensive. The radio tunes accurately but pulls in stations my other small radios don't, and with clarity. Excellent reception and overall a very worthwhile purchase.

A good little portable radio!
This is a great and very affordable portable radio. I purchased this for the Drive In movie theater, so we can sit in the back of my truck. It picked up the station very clearly and the sound wasn't bad at all. I highly recommend

Perfect for Camp – My Son Loved It
I bought the PRUNUS J-166 Portable Radio for my son to take to his away camp, since electronics weren’t allowed, and it was a huge hit! The size is perfect—small enough to carry around easily, and the back clip made it convenient for him to attach to his clothing or backpack. The reception was excellent, even in the camp’s remote location, and the tuning light made it easy for him to find his favorite stations.He really enjoyed having music and news to listen to during downtime, and it kept him entertained without needing a phone or tablet. Small, good sound, good price
We still have a drive-in movie theatre nearby and it uses FM radios for the soundtracks so I got this one. It works well and is small enough to store while giving decent sound.

Great for travel.
I purchased this radio specifically to cross listening to Cuban propaganda on actual Cuban AM radio stations located inside Cuba off my bucket list. Well... Let's just say I'm impressed because I picked up Cuba, America, and Turks and Caicos while I was deep inside Bahamas. The sound is adequate, the 3.5mm jack for private listening is a major plus, reception of radio signals while out in the middle of the ocean is fantastic....particularly AM broadcasts at night. The controls are basic switches, pots, and variable caps for ease of use and the volume control has a wide range. I cannot verify clarity since I was knowingly and willingly picking up radio stations well over 100 miles away. One does not need to raise the telescoping antenna to receive local FM channels or distant AM broadcasts after dark. I'm not sure how it works while in mountainous conditions or in temperature inversions, though I do live in the mountains and will test it some time for that. I'm not able to comment on durability since I only bought this unit to be disposable. The only flaw is that my tuning needle (that orange bit) which shows where I am on the radio frequency is a wee bit crooked. But, that's not a turn off for someone who bought this to be both cheap and disposable.

Great Little Radio
I don't know what else can be said about this little radio. If you read reviews, one of the most satisfied customers provided a comprehensive and favorable review of this product. Check out the comments. Outstanding price, size, quality of item. Never a problem with receiving shipped items. Bought it top replace an old Radio Shack transistor radio that belonged to my Dad. That "sentimental value" is the only thing this little radio could no reproduce. A tremendous buy for a senior, lids or anyone.

Great Radio
I have weak service in the Garage. I ordered this Radio . It Pull in a signal strong . Not like any Radio I have ever had . I was shocked so tiny Radio I said here we go . It works Excellent. Very happy. I'm going too Order a couple moreFor power going out . I would recommend this Radio, Great for beach camping ect.Good job Ammazon
