They are as advertised and then some.
They are a good quality boot and very fetching. However, I would not call them distressed. Their appearance is from the dye in the leather and is more of a mottled look between black and brown. The leather is smooth but not shiny. The fit is accurate and good. My feet are 28cm toe to heel so, I got the 9.5 and it is a snug fit without being too tight... very comfortable. They will take a little breaking in to reach their true comfort potential. Measure your foot with a sock on, especially if you tend to wear thick or winter socks. Don't assume since it is Milwaukee Leather that they are made in the US, they are made in Pakistan. I rarely give a 5 star rating but 4 didn't seem to be enough.

Better Looking Than In The Picture!!!
These look like well made, heavy duty boots, with full welt construction. They also look much better in person than in the listing picture. They are not nearly as "blotchy" as shown in the add. Nice black/brown finish that gives them a well worn look. I bought my regular size, they are very comfortable, not too tight, and there is plenty of room for a nice thick pair of wool socks for cold weather riding. After wearing them for a few weeks now, I can say that I highly recommend these boots! Fast delivery too!!!
