This works as expected and has good connection. However, when first starting the machine, there is a foul odor that lasts about 5 seconds. Seems to be a result of something leaching from the hose material when sitting stagnate until next operation. It isn't my machine as it is cleaned regularly, and no similar issue has occurred with any of my previous hoses. I have swapped hoses and only with this hose does that odor appear when first starting.Update: Odor no longer occurs and it performs as the original that came with the machine

I was able to get three of these for the cost of what my medical supply company would have charged me AFTER going through insurance.....absolutely criminal. These are a very good buy if you don't have money to burn. It fits exactly like the ones coming from AeroCare and costs 1/3 the price.
