Highly recommend
I recently purchased the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in Cream, and here’s my detailed review based on my experience:Design and Build QualityThe Marshall Acton III immediately impresses with its classic, iconic design. The cream-colored finish gives it a modern yet vintage look that fits seamlessly into any home or office decor. The gold accents on the control knobs, speaker grill, and logo provide a nice contrast to the cream, adding a touch of elegance without being over-the-top. It feels like a high-quality product, and the solid construction reflects Marshall’s reputation for durable, premium audio gear. It’s compact but powerful, easily fitting on a shelf or tabletop without taking up too much space, yet still delivering rich, full sound. I also appreciate the rubber feet on the bottom that keep the speaker stable and prevent it from sliding around when adjusting the volume or playing music.Sound QualityThe sound quality is definitely where the Marshall Acton III shines. Despite its relatively small size, this speaker offers excellent, balanced sound. I was particularly impressed with the bass—it’s deep and punchy without being overpowering, which is important for a small speaker like this. The mids are clear and articulate, making vocals and instrumentals sound natural, while the treble is crisp but not harsh. Whether I’m listening to rock, pop, or even classical music, the sound is always full, rich, and immersive. The stereo sound is impressive, and the speaker can fill a decent-sized room without losing clarity or becoming distorted, even at higher volumes. Low distortion and high volume capabilities make this speaker perfect for parties or gatherings, and I never feel like the audio breaks down under pressure.Bluetooth and ConnectivitySetting up the Bluetooth connection was incredibly easy. I had it up and running within minutes, and the connection stays strong and stable even at a fair distance. The range is solid, and I didn’t experience any dropouts during usage. This is ideal if you’re moving around the room or want to control your music without being tethered to the speaker. You can also connect the speaker using a wired connection, thanks to the 3.5mm auxiliary input, which is great for those who want to connect devices without Bluetooth. Multi-device pairing is a feature that allows you to easily switch between devices, and the dedicated buttons for Bluetooth control are intuitive to use.Control and FunctionalityThe top panel is equipped with a set of analog control knobs for volume, bass, and treble, which I really appreciate. These knobs give you precise control over the sound and let you customize the audio to your preference. The controls feel smooth and tactile, and they add a nice retro touch to the speaker. There’s also a power switch on the back, which is simple to use. It would be great to have a more intuitive way of turning it off (e.g., through the app), but it’s a minor issue considering the speaker’s other strengths.Battery LifeThe battery life isn’t relevant for this model, as it needs to be plugged in for use. However, that’s not a drawback at all, as this speaker is designed for stationary use, whether in your living room or on a desk. Its ability to connect to power without worrying about battery life is a plus for consistent, long-term listening.Price and ValueThe Marshall Acton III is certainly a premium speaker, so it’s priced higher than many other Bluetooth speakers on the market. That said, considering the build quality, sound performance, and the classic Marshall aesthetic, I feel like it offers great value for money. You’re paying for both the sound and the iconic design, which makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone who values both.ConclusionOverall, the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in Cream is a stellar product. It offers an impressive sound quality, sleek design, and reliable Bluetooth connectivity. The analog controls give it a retro, tactile feel, while the solid construction ensures it’s built to last. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys listening to high-quality audio in a compact, stylish package. If you’re someone who appreciates both form and function and is willing to invest a bit more for a speaker that’s both visually appealing and offers great sound, the Marshall Acton III is definitely worth considering. My only real issue with it is the lack of a built-in battery, but for home use, that’s not a huge dealbreaker.Highly recommended for those who want both performance and style in their audio setup!

Great Sound in a Manageable Package
Marshall has always sold professional quality, reliable products. The Action lll is a fine example. May cost a few dollars more than the competition but well worth the investment. Very low noise. Wide frequency response. Produces low disrortion full sound and plenty of it. Setup (BT connection) is simple and reliable. Does not make loud annoying noises when connecting or disconnecting. I previously purchased a much larger Marshall Standmore ll speaker which I've enjoyed for many years. The Action lll makes an attractive addition to your office or poolside. I highly recommend this product.

obsessed
One of my favorite purchases. It's very aesthetically pleasing & fits my decor well. One thing I didn't realize before buying it was that it wasn't portable & has to be plugged in, in order to turn on. The bluetooth connects immediately & I never have issues. The sound is great & it gets pretty loud. Considering this will last me a while, it was definitely worth the money.

Beautiful speaker!
This speaker packs a punch. Looks AND sounds great. Very impressed with the quality for the price. The adjustable bass/treble knobs are a great addition to any audiophile. It can get super loud (I don’t even have the volume that high and it shakes the house). Bluetooth connects seamlessly to each device. You can also connect through an aux cord if needed. It’s got enough weight to hold its place without being a burden to carry around. If all that isn’t enough, it also looks amazing in your desired room. Highly recommend. Worth it!

Great speaker
I love this speaker. It sounds great, mostly, and I love the way it looks. My only issue is that it doesn’t seem to play both channels on a stereo recording. I wouldn’t have noticed it except for that I listened to a song that goes really quiet for a minute or so with only a feint drum beat and some vocals. My speaker was practically silent. But overall I think most people who aren’t audiophiles would love it. And audiophiles don’t usually buy inexpensive speakers. This one is worth every penny and I think if I could afford to be one, I would be an audiophile. Sound is very important to me
