Dove Serum Hydration Boost Body Wash Hydrates Dry Skin with Hydrating Serum and Hyaluronic Acid 18.5 oz

I was not expecting to write a review about body wash..but here I am.I have dry skin but I also have KP on my arms, thighs etc. It's hard finding something that is moisturizing and smooths my bumbs out.Over the past year I have tried SO many soaps and body washes. Anything that was under $15 and that was recommended I tried - Dr teal, dove, aveeno, method, raw, ogx, handmade soaps, I even attempted a DiY version. None of the brands were repeats except for dr. Teals, but it didn't moisturize me enough.I saw this on Amazon and the reviews look great so I gave it a try. Omg, it works so well!! I will update this in a month and then again a few months down the line so I can share If I still like it and how long it lasts.For now, I'm in love. My skin feels SO SOFT! it feels soft the next day too. You only need A LITTLE BIT. The pump pushes out quite a bit. I've found that I can do my whole body for 1-2 pumps (make sure to get your loofah/ hands/ washcloth wet and then lather prior to putting it in your body). The picture I posted was just one pump. It sudsied up most of my body with 1 pump.- I can use it on my face. My face felt great and so far hasn't caused any sensitivity or breakouts. I will update it if it does- My skin FEELS HYDRATED!- my skin isn't squeaky or tight feeling. That used to happen alot with bar soap/ other brands- I'm soft. And that's special to me. Thanks to my glorious keratosis Polaris lol. I don't have soft skin in many parts of my body. It's nice to finally feel that. It kind of creates a barrier.- smells good! It's light, simple and not overpowering. A nice jasmine scent- hyaluronic acid brings moisture and bounce to your skin- squalene is wonderful for skin. It hydrates itself and is an occlusive *(check out these ingredients for face moisturizers. My skin was so dry until I added in Hyaluronic acid, squalene and beta glucan- the pump is my favorite feature. I drop stuff all of the time esp in the shower. It's nice to have a one hand option.Ooh also, pair this with a hyaluronic acid moisturizer and/ or a ceramide moisturizer. The combo is perfect. I'm working on finding a good moisturizer that also has those ingredients. If I find one, I'll edit and share.I'll be back to update my reviews and add some photos. I'm intrigued to see how long this will last. I'm hoping a long time.Hope this helped!!

Used this for my eczema flare up. I shouldn't scratch, but with this it is soothing enough to rub, which I don't recommend but I could not do this with other items. Cheap effective, and it works. Just make sure to turn off the water so you can get it to lather as little mist, and steam will make this not later and or come right off.Note. This does not sting as much even if your skin is not in ideal condition to soap and lather. At least if you are used to it, not very nice being used to it but that is just how it is. With that being said, skin was easier to exfoliate. Gross but you shouldn't exfoliate and let it just naturally come off like a scab. Let whatever bacteria or dust mite go for the softer and soap saturated parts of your skin, not the part that is recovering.

I enjoy this body wash and I do not have sensitive skin. It is used with a microfiber washcloth in the shower…wet the wash cloth, a few squirts of the body wash, rub the washcloth on itself with a little extra splash of water and there’s PLENTY of lather to clean your entire body. I live in FL and find that body washes or soaps with lots of skin softeners leave me extra hot and sweaty on hot and humid days. This body wash does not cause this for me.

I've been using this product around 3 months now, sporadically, and the biggest difference I notice, other than the classic softer, smoother skin all Dove body washes and soap leads to.... Is that my many scars from a long-COVID triggered skin illness I battled for 3, nearly 4 years....? They are rapidly getting smoother, now, too, and some are even fading noticably faster, appearing smaller, on me, than before I started using this body wash.Last month I started pairing it with another- Cerave SA body wash for rough and bumpy skin? (Squirts of each into my loofa, ratio depending on season, so more of Dove than Cerave, as it's a cold, mostly low humidity/dry winter, here, now.) And now, together the results are accelerating all over my body in both tone and the smoothness, softness of former problem areas on my body. It is incredible, as I never had skin problems before recent years like this, I thought I would never feel like myself again. I am finally seeing real returns to having my normal skin back... If I'm not careful, I might cry, it gives me more than hope, now that in time my body will be something actually close to what it used to be, again. And biggest of all?Something I never ever expected to fade -an old surgery scar that was never otherwise going to become less stark in contrast, color, texture....on my breast from a lump removal as far back as 2009...! It is now changing, too! I literally never would have expected that. It hadn't really changed at all, this whole time, since full healing, post-surgery, so 15 years... I just noticed even it is getting less stark, less different in color from my surrounding breasr skin, far smoother in a way closer to that of normal surrounding skin, and even looks shorter and smaller! I am genuinely shocked. I'd had it so long I was long used to feeling like my otherwise nice skin in that part of my body was now permanently made let's say different and unique without anything I ever did, could have prevented or ever consented to... They say you have to forgive your body for these things... It's kind of true, especially in the case of breasts... I had long ago been past that. Now, I want to hug myself ha. I can't believe it. I highly recommend pairly this body wash with the Cerave SA for rough and bumpy skin. I was slowly, but surely seeing results before I paired them, with the Dove? But omg are they really helping me, together. I am so thrilled, wow!

We finally found a soap that doesn't irritate the skin. Its great quality and gives us a lot of product. great value for the price and we love that it doesn't bother our skin. makes my skin feel great after a long shower!

This has become my new favorite body wash. It leaves my skin so soft & smooth. The scent is light & wonderful. I noticed a huge difference this past winter on how much this moisturized my skin. This Dove body wash is not heavy but it gets the job done; my skin is so clean & I'm very happy with this product.
