This board just works
This thing works great, right out of the box! It's used to build your own joystick. If you buy it, get yourself the wiring harness kit as well. If you have 22 gauge wire and can solder, you don't need the wiring harness. Either way, this thing works great right out of the box, I've had no issues with this at all. It's fantastic!.

Works like a charm.
Was a bit annoying to install but it’s up and running and I can now play sf6 and tekken 8 on my cabinet.

A Flagship Fighting Board to Up the Anty!
The Brook P5 PLUS is industry leading with it's best in class latency and easy to install nature. This was my first time doing a Motherboard/PCB Mod for my HITBOX and had little no to trouble installing this fine piece of hardware. I paired this motherboard with Brooks Fighting/HITBOX Cables to make installing easy without the need to cut cables, crimp, or solder, etc.I normally play in Xinput via PC. I was originally using a Brook FGC Wingman to compete at Locals which normally sports PS5 Consoles, however I noticed even with it's latest firmware + tournament mode settings, the delay was insanely noticeable and made me not be able to perform at my best. I dropped combos, and couldn't even do Perfect Electrics in TEKKEN 8 in my local brackets, which I'm confortable doing with my eyes closed at home 70% of the time when paired natively to my PC. I needed a solid solution. The only way to really be at your best, is with hard remedies and full on PCB Mods to combat the latency delay with the use of converters. That's where Brook's latest Fighting Board iteration comes in clutch. The Brook P5 PLUS is a Flag Ship Board. It makes updating firmware (for stability and latency improvements) VERY EASY and comes with every port you could possibly need to wire up your Arcade Stick or Leverless. Installing a PCB into your controller really helps with the quality of life of a traveling competitor. You really just get to enjoy a Plug and Play feel and despite PS5 still having some delay, you don't feel at a disadvantage compared to being on a Converter. You feel like you can just play your natural game. No more dropped combos and you can simply just LOCK IN. Everything auto detects what console your on as well, so It's nice not having to hit a shortcut to get the right System. Simply Plug In, and you're in! It's time to fight!

Works Perfect for my PS5 Arcade Cabinet
The media could not be loaded. Ordered two for my two player arcade cabinet, now I can play all the new Gen fighting games on my PS5 arcade. Instant response time. They were plug and play IF YOU BUY THE BROOKS FIGHTING BOARD CABLES. They sell them separately in a little yellow bag, super easy to install. Highly recommend these for your PS5 to arcade buttons needs.

Fantastic board
Brook's board is a fantastic way to bring compatibility of your fight sticks to newer platforms without the inherent problem of input delay in using converter adapters. My brother used to collect and build a bunch of fight sticks back in the PS3 era when Marvel vs Capcom 2 was still huge, because our whole family was into playing it. One brother even obsesses with doing infinite combos with magneto and iron man, and it's all about timing. Well fast-forward to fall of 2024, and we finally got a revival of Marvel vs Capcom 2 on modern platforms, so this thing matters a lot now! Those of you who build sticks know very well that you're going to spend nearly this much just to buy new sanwa buttons and stick gates when you build another board... so you'll be saving yourself on literally everything else by getting one of these boards.

Plus and play, no software or soldering needed, good performance.
I cannot really tell the difference between this and the streetfighter compatible version. It works just the same and has the same installation process and performance. I used this board to create my second fight stick and honestly I could not tell the performance difference between the two. It has similar stickers as the other version and is the same size. The board does have a different connector color but it has the same amount of plugs. This works and it was great to use for my second build so far. The board is not too hard to install into my case but does require some tools when installing the wires. It is mostly a screw driver and nothing that is solder needed. I did use the stickers on provided for this and it stays on well. It is hard to peel off so make sure you find the right space for it. The plugs on the board are not bad and I have no issues with any shorts or heating issues after the installation. There are no additional wires that come with this box. All my wires I had to purchase separately or was with the accessories I purchased for this board. Like the other model, this is wire setup only. It is still powered via a type c port. The instructions are the same and easy to follow. The performance of this board is pretty good so far. I found no kind of input lag or anything. There is no software installation needed and it is just plug and play. It has worked for both my PS5 and PS4 so far. I do not have an xbox to work but it does work on my PC as well for street fighter. The components are all well soldered on. I found no issues with bad soldering or shorts anywhere. Overall this is a good fighting board to have if you want to create your own. It was easier the second time around and is just as well designed as the other. The instructions are pretty clear on how to install everything. It is a good set for beginners. It is cheaper which makes me wonder what the actual difference between the boards are.
