For price, very VERY good with unexpected EXTRA benefit vs. older smaller capacity chargers.It gives you a green solid light, red solid light or ??? blinking green light.....which my previous charger, which only held 4 AAs or AAAs did NOT have. ....blinking seems to indicate ???? a battery so low it'll take TIME to charge above normal or ?? maybe time to replace that battery. . . . . .I have circa 24 batteries in several of those motion-sensor lights (3 AAAs each) from Amazon.....having THIS 8 battery charger PLUS a reasonable voltmeter handy minimizes stress of keeping track of them .....BUT again, voltimeter double-checking charge status of batteries is seldom if EVER needed now with THIS charger.

Works as advertised. Quite a steal at $10 for 2. They’re nothing special but if you just want to slap in some batteries and forget about them for a while these work fine.Batteries seem to charge well but perhaps the larger mAh batteries miss their -deltaV termination a bit as they became almost too hot to touch which is a sign of overcharging. Not as bad as others. Typically you’d want 700-1000mAh charge rate for the larger AA batteries to allow for the voltage drop detection to work properly.The build quality is what you’d expect for the price. Almost no weight and no rubber feet means it slides around while trying to add or remove batteries. Batteries are also a tight fit but not incredibly difficult to add or remove. The USB-C port feels solid a should handle plugging and unplugging for the life of the charger, which I expect will last for many years.

Do not buy unless you want to do a math equation to know when each battery is fully charged! Unfortunately I didn't need to charge until now and its after the 30 days so I cant return.Read the instructions and apparently the light comes on when charging but does NOT ever turn off.. even when a battery is completely charged!! It gives you a confusing formula to use! Even if I took the time to figure it out who wants to have to make sure to unplug so it turns off?! It *should* automatically turn off!
