Great speaker
I really like everything about this speaker. It’s cool looking, doesn’t have an annoying auto power off, sounds really good and has a bunch of connectivity options. A well thought out product. When I first unboxed the speaker I was disappointed by the apparent lack of bass. It was sitting in the middle of a table and I guess the acoustics weren’t good. I put it in a corner close to the wall and it came to life. Big difference. So the speaker is somewhat dependent on positioning and surroundings for the optimal sound.

Pretty good!
Great look and sound. ~20% glitch rate with AirPlay. Sometimes complete fail to connect, more often an exceptionally long wait time to connect. Zero regrets about buying it given the cost and quality tradeoff.

Edifier EDF100080 Tabletop Speaker: Love the product; hate the lack of product support
I have never been so torn over a purchase as I am this one. If I had bought it at a garage or yard sale I would simply be ecstatic - but I didn't, I bought it from a company that brags about how great they are, while not being willing to tell me the size of the product, or whether there is a warranty for defects that appear post-purchase. I gladly give the product 5 stars, because it is fantastic, but if I could I would give the company zero stars.1. To illustrate how good this speaker sounds, today I placed it in front of my surround sound center channel speaker, left my surround system off, and paired it to the Bluetooth of my LG TV, then watched the entire drama movie "Lost In Translation." I was amazed that I kept forgetting, repeatedly, that I was listening to a single speaker. The dialog was as clear as I have ever heard, and my normal center speaker is a Canton. There's not much bass in the movie, but where there was some bass, it sounded full and tight, allaying my concern that it might be lacking due to the mfg.'s stated frequency response of 52 - 40,000 Hz. Apparently the frequency response was actually measured, instead of just labeling it 20 Hz - 20 kHz like every $25 plastic speaker I see.2. I asked for actual physical dimensions but received no response, so for anyone wondering about the ridiculous dimensions they show, here's the measurements of mine: 9-3/4" W x 7" D (including buttons) x 6-1/4" H. These are accurate within 1/16".3. There is no stated warranty, although one is implied. With the aid of a magnifying glass, I found a place on the enclosed leaflet that stated the warranty could be found on the website by entering the product model number along with the country and "Warranty Terms" That was a lie. I struggled with the website's AI bot until I was angry, then clicked on the button for ask human, or something similar, which promised a response but as of now there has been none. By the way, they state that the model number and serial number are stamped on the product box - also a lie. The model number (EDF100080) is stamped clearly on the back of the speaker only. After thoroughly scrutinizing the entire back panel, I discovered that the serial number is stamped also, but WITH BLACK INK ON THE BLACK SURFACE. It cannot be read with a magnifying glass and direct lighting. I can only hope that I never need repairs. I can see there is another line of characters under the serial number, but that is absolutely illegible also.4. I installed the Edifier app on my iPhone, and everything claimed seems to work, but is applicable only to input from the phone, which I will probably never use, but would be useful for those users wanting to do that. This review is incomplete, as I have not tested the auxiliary and USB type C input capability, but I did not want to wait to get this much "off my chest." I plan to come back and add that data after I have had time to create it. By then, I would love to be able to share that there is a warranty for this product. Wouldn't that be great?

Looks great - Sounds better
Have been wanting to try Edifer for some time and finally had an excuse to pick one up. Bought it for the looks - didn't pay much attention to the fine details, but has an ~8 hour battery for off-power use and an app to control additional features. Powered it up, connected a phone and it sure did deliver. Sounds was well balanced IMO not to bassy not too much high end. Believe the app may let you EQ it to your liking, but the phone EQ worked fine to find the right balance. Overall I was impressed. It's well made with a compliment of USB/Headphone jacks for input in addition to the bluetooth and a built-in handle. A lot of quality for the price, small enough to be discreet but big enough to fill a room. Looking forward to trying some of their other products.

I've learned I shouldn't trust Youtube reviews.
I bought this after watching the review on youtube. I guess that set my expectation too high. The bass was quite anemic. Instead of deep smooth sensation I was expecting, what I got was something you'd expect from a smaller speaker. I don't think I'm wrong on this as I have Edifier's desktop speakers I've been using for past 5-6 years and it ha plenty of great sounding base, which is something I expected from this larger unit. Anyway, I think it'll be OK if you are in a small room and stick close to it. But it isn't my cup of tea.

Excellent!
For the money this is a no-brainer! Get it!Build quality is excellent!Sound quality is excellent!Battery is excellent!I love this speaker. I have a few high-end speakers from B&O and I find myself playing this one a lot. There is one issue. When you connect to WiFi once you turn off the speaker, you cannot go right back into their app unless you reset the speaker. Not sure why that is. To be clear, once you setup WIFI, you will always be in WIFI when you turn it on and can play music right away, but if you want to change the EQ, you have to use the app. This is the pain part but you have to reset the speaker each time you want to use the app. Hopefully Edifier fixes this with an update!I still love this speaker!!

Great speaker for the price!
Works great. I only wish it had a micro sd card slot as the smaller model doesOr a USB slot instead of usbc. The smaller model plays a card perfectly.Otherwise I really like the sound abd can use aux cord if needed.

Easy to use and sounds great
Sounds great, which seems typical for Edifier, based on my limited experience (it's my third Edifier product). I started with powered speakers years ago. Then headphones (very happy with them). Now the wireless speaker. Sounds great. Looks vintage. It couldn't have been easier to start using. It's very portable. Highly recommended.
