Hawkins Futura 5 Pieces Cookware Set 4 - Non Stick Kadhai, Two Frying Pans, Saucepan, Saute Pan and Two Glass Lids, Black (NSET4)

Bought two years ago. Good enough to cook for six people. The Teflon coating is still intact. I like the thickness of the utensils. Food does not burn.Surprisingly have seen outside surfaces of all utensils becoming white over time. This means the black colour was not due to anodising but some paint that has worn away by washing.Look bad now from outside. I would have thought the manufacturer would be careful and sell as advertised.Anodising is a chemical treatment where a portion of the aluminium becomes hard oxide. This layer is scratch proof. Almost as hard as steel.

I have been using it for three months and it is of superb quality. Looks good and heat conductivity is good. Easy to clean and handle. Doesn't scratch easily but make sure you use plastic or wooden cooking utensils on it.Only small negative aspect is, the handle can become bit loose after heavy usage but I do recommend this product if you are not a very rough user. If taken care properly these pots and pans can last for a longer period of time than the other unhealthy cheap non-sticks out there.Worth every extra rupee.

I usually google & read reviews on e commerce websites a lot before ordering anything... I have just received but not used it yet... Impressed by the thickness, heaviness, company mark in the bottom of each pan... I will make sure i use only wooden spatula... Clean it by spounge... Cook on low flame so it lasts long... On google's ten review websites this product set is in top 3 to top 5... On amazon also only this product doesn't have photos to support negative review... Glass lid i am going to use for the first time... Will make sure some steam leaks through the side or use cotton towel below glass lid to absorb moisture... 4500 Rs. Are nothing... no matter whichever product you buy it is like a bet... No non stick cookware set is for lifetime...

Health First -People have a tendency to forget security and safety issues whenever a new technology provides great convenience. And the same can be said for Aluminium and Non-stick cookwares. Both are not good for health. Aluminum tends to easily react with acidic substances present in food. When heated non-stick cookware produces toxic PFOA fumes which have many adverse effects on health. You can always use google for more info.Anyways, I strongly suggest everyone to use Kansa (Bell Metal) utensils or iron utensils. I understand they're difficult to clean and maintain. Trust me they're worth using. They have many health benefits. But, in daily hassles of life sometimes we may require to use non-stick cookware e.g. for a quick fry. In that case, we may need to keep a set of non-stick cookware as spare. And then comes the need to purchase one.About the product -The brand says it all. This is my second purchase. Easy to use and clean. As of now, it looks durable too. You get a subpar wooden spatula and a dish scrubber in the box. But one thing I feel that they should have made it induction compatible. It's the only gripe I have about this set of products.If your friends or family members are getting married, this could be an exceptional gift.

I have been using all off these products for almost more than 2-3 months and it has changed my life. It's easy to clean and cooks food very quickly.The only problem I would say is that the lids don't have a steam hole and because of that the lid keeps moving up and down whenever i use it. But it's not a huge thing at all, utensils are absolutely worth the money.
