What a Difference!
I just started playing the chanter 3 months ago. I had a reed that came with the chanter. My sound was very quiet and I was putting in a lot of air. I know nothing about chanter reeds and picked these because they came as an 2 pack and came in a case. ( sad but true) I popped one of the reeds in tonight and WOW!!! The sound was big!! Thank you Barefoot Bagpiper! What a difference! It gives me hope!

I have not had a chance to use these much. I only needed one but bought a few more for spares jic. I put one in my son's chanter and it seemed spot on right away. Seemed like a good deal. At this point I'd buy more if needed.

Disappointing
These reeds are great - when they work. This is the second time I've bought a 2 pack. Both instances one of the reeds plays perfectly and the other craps out when you play the high notes at speed. I would give this 5 stars if they could get their quality control together. For the price you are paying for these it shouldn't be an issue and it's honestly pretty annoying.
