Works well, but the magnets could be stronger
It does the trick, and a handy addition to any DIYers toolbox and a must for setting posts.The magnets don't' seem to be very strong - I used them on some galvanised and powder coated steel and they just didn't have the staying power. The strap is functional, but not exactly convenient when dealing with concrete etc.Other than that, it seems robus and well built, the plastic seems good quality and so do the bubbles. I cross checked with an expensive Ox level and it was plenty close enough for setting a post.

Great item for installing fence posts
This is a great little item. Saved so much time attaching this to each post rather than constantly having to pick up a spirit level and make sure the fence posts were straight and level. It’s easy to use, you just wrap the elastic around the post and hook though the hole and off you go. It saved a lot of time and made the building of a very long fence much easier. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect
Just the job, bought this to install new fence posts after the last storms brought mine and joint neighbours dividing fence down, well I managed to put the posts in and rapid set concrete them in, perfectly upright on my own with this level. It has elastic so will stretch around the post (I used 3") or has magnets so could be used on metal poles.

Straight up, it works well.
I'm being completely on the level here, it is a very useful device for getting your posts upright before concreting/backfilling. The strap supplied is only long enough to wrap round 4" posts, not 6" gate posts.

Very useful, but shame about the elastic element.
it seems robust and does the job required, but the elastic to hold it against the post is a joke. Find a friend who can hold it against the post while you do what is necessary. Honestly, it seems like an afterthought - a shame for an otherwise very useful device.

Post level.
Bought this to help with 4 concrete posts that I was putting in place. Over the years, like most people, I've dug out and replace many wooden posts that get storm damage or rotten.I wish I'd bought one of these years ago!Elastic goes around the post and it's attached giving hands free (needed for concrete posts) to adjust your post and get it square.For the price and ease... buy one!Bubbles gave no issues and checked with a large level before adding postcrete and found to be very accurate.
