Very satisfied, highly recommended. It “sucks up” fumes and vapors from the floor. Of course, it's not like a large range hood, but it does work great. My husband and I love it. It's small enough to fit next to the stovetop and has exactly what I need, no more tears and sniffles.

Tiny.
Yes. The fan is very powerful, it works and it works quite well. Great quality, looks great, and removes odors very well. Very happy with it. It keeps the air moving and really helps when cooking. One of the best ventilation solutions. Try it, you'll love it, trust me!

Its pretty good but not as strong as I wish. You still get some smells but worth it price wise compared to the real thing a full hood fan

Smoke free
All in all, it's very effective, ventilation solution and this one is definitely worth every penny! The suction power is enough to suck up all the grease and smoke. This thing really helps when cooking indoors. This shopping experience was great. I am so happy. This is just fantastic! It helps me a lot!

The Alter
does absorb smoke and vapor very well. Works very well. Works at the right distance too! It works really well for me. Very happy with the results. This portable exhaust fan does a great job of absorbing fumes and odors while cooking. And it is easy to clean.

It Works, But There Are Issues With The Filters
I bought it to help deal with the smoke we were getting from our indoor grill, and it does this surprisingly well. It does make some noise, but the noise level isn’t excessive. On the down side there are 2 problems which are the reasons I gave it only 3 stars. The first is the instruction manual which is written in pidgin English. A quick edit by an English speaker would fix this. The second is the charcoal filters which work really well but are super hard to get. For whatever reason, it seems to take this company 2 to 3 weeks to ship them and they apparently have no control over when they will actually ship. Fortunately 5 inch charcoal filters that I can get from a different company arrive the very next day and work perfectly well.

Incredible for us!
This was the favorite gift of Christmas for my Husband!He is an incredible cook and was smoking us out of the house on a regular basis bc our home does not have a range hood. We’d talked about how on earth to put one in, but it would take MAJOR renovations and reorganizing of our kitchen appliances to the tune of about 87 million dollars (give or take 37 cents). This could be a slightly exaggerated price, but we’ll never know because of this miraculous device!It is larger than I expected, in the most delightful way, and is definitely super quiet on the low setting. It’s no louder than a regular range hood on the medium setting and does suck in the smoke releasing cleaner air behind it. We are no longer coughing as he’s cooking steak and sausages or looking lovingly at each other through smoke-filled air for the rest of the evening.Hubbs can now clearly see our glances of adoration and appreciation for all of his efforts & no longer hears our cough-filled thank you’s for his efforts at dinner time.If you do not have a range hood, this is the perfect kitchen item you never knew existed but you absolutely need!
