It will fit your American Standard "Cadet" style tank
The most important thing you want this lid to do is fit, and it does. As long as you need the part number "735121-400.XXX", you are purchasing the right lid. Mine came wrapped up very safely. It was made in MX (Mexico). It is of the same quality as the original tank lid that it was replacing.

Fits perfectly
Replacement lid for my toilet. The lid broke a couple years ago when a mermaid fell off the wall and hit it. True story. Anyways, I finally got tired of looking at it and ordered one since they don't carry replacements in the stores. It fits just like it should and looks nice too. Just look for the number on the inside of the lid if you need to replace yours. Oh, and beware of hanging any mermaids on the wall. :0)

Only option you have when kids break toilet lid
It is what it is. Kids broke toilet lid so I had to buy another to cover tank. No cheap options to be found so it was either replace toilet or replace lid. Works well, just might double check number on ur lid (if possible) to make sure it’s compatible. Luckily we had other toilets that were the same model and not in tiny pieces to find a model number. Came packaged in padding, unharmed. Hopefully I won’t have to buy again :)

Fits American Standard 4021
Bought a house recently and the basement bathroom toilet had a rectangle tank lid that did not belong to it or any of the other toilets in the house. Could only purchase a new lid WITH a tank in the right color thru Home Depot and Lowes. Not surprisingly I could buy JUST the lid thru Amazon. Took a chance and bought it when finding the toilet model number in the listing details and it fit perfectly.
