Beneficial Nematodes are highly effective to control Fleas and ticks. I use them annually!! The sprayer attachment is not effective. I use a 5 gallon backback sprayer to apply the nematodes!!

This product eliminated a severe root knot nematode infestation.
Last fall I sprayed the nematodes on my root knot infested garden and watered them in. The sprayer performs unevenly but after blowing a huge dose in a small area, I reduced the amount of nematode bearing contents of the package for each sprayer-full and covered my garden pretty well. Must have missed a small area because a short section of my okra row has severe root knot damage. The rest of the garden is free of root knot nematode damage. My tomatoes, peppers, beans, and squash and most of the okra row have no indication of root knot nematode damage. I will apply another dose to the nematode infected area this fall and review that about this time next year. I hope a better sprayer becomes available.

Japanese beetle population was reduced
This did not eliminate our Japanese Beetle population but we have a large acreage so we didn’t expect it to. We did, however, notice a decline in the amount of Japanese Beetles from last year so I assume that they did their job. Probably won’t invest next year because we had to spray irregardless since it didn’t eliminate them. I think it is definitely worth investing in if you have small areas you are treating. I used mine in combination with milky spore.

Gnats
Alright here's the deal, every single time I tell people about Nematodes as our solution for gnats because we live near an aqueduct and a giant field, they think I've completely lost my mind or have been sold some ridiculous scheme. The fact is though that these actually work. The best method I've found is doing 2 applications. 1 at the start of the rainy season, and another towards the end of it about mid Spring. We live in California so that's typically mid February, and then another treatment at the beginning of April. There is a extreme difference in the gnat population when we use nematodes vs. when we do not. Last year we forgot, and it really wasn't too bad (I think because the year before had such great effects), this year they are back with a vengeance, or they were until we did another nematode treatment.1000% recommend if you're looking to reduce gnats or mosquitos.

It does not work and it is expensive.
The nematodes did not work. I still have animals digging up my grass. I followed the instructions exactly.

Very disappointed in sprayer!
When trying to connect to hose, the sprayer leaked at the connection. Next, the first time I sprayed, I probably sprayed too thinly, so I went back over it the next day. While it worked fine the first time, the sprayer didn't work the second time, so halfway through, I blew the thing out, etc. and it worked (maybe I didn't get it cleaned thoroughly after the first use) for a while. I finally gave up and sprinkled the solution out of the container by hand. The third time, I sprayed for half and hr. and saw nothing was leaving the canister!! Being totally disgusted, I blew through the tube, and found air coming out where it should, however, I eventually gave up, said a few words and sprinkled it on the ground, once again!! I bought 2 packs - 100M and 50M, and I think I could have gotten by with less, but this has been a total hassle!!! How do I return something, when most has been used?? I think the sprayer was bad, quite honestly, so I don't know if I accomplished what I had hoped to!!! I didn't use this all at once, because by the time the sun was not beating on the ground, it was getting early evening and I was watering in almost darkness. Guess I'll start earlier tonight and hope the sun isn't too bright!!

Combine treatment with merit and scanmask for heavy cranefly grub infestation.
My lawn was greatly damaged by european cranefly grub. Leaving many patchy bald damaged spots. I found high number of grubs when I dug up some dead patches to place new sod. However, there were too many smaller patches of damage. I applied both Merit granules and Scanmask nematodes. In just 1 month, I was surprised all the damage area able to grow back. So far, I don't see any new damage surfacing. It appears the combination is very effective.
