These Heat N' Bond EZ Print Lite iron-on adhesive sheets are awesome!! If you quilt or craft and hate tracing or you would like to trace as little as possible these are a must have! They do have a learning curve. Your printer must have all paper removed and you must put one heat n bond paper in at a time. Know your printer and how it pulls the paper in so that it prints on the paper side. Occasionally, my printer had trouble pulling the sheet in properly. I found that if I ran my hand across the edge of the sheet where the paper was going to be pulled into the printer right before putting it in the tray, insuring that it was really straight, it worked every time. I ordered these to use on an applique quilt I am making (based on a pattern I bought from Shiny Happy World). You just insert the EZ Print paper into your printer's paper tray, and then print the exploded, full size templates onto them. I did a test print on normal paper, marking the top side of the paper with an X so I knew which side of the EZ Print paper to face up. Once you know which side of the paper the ink will print to, you face the smooth side of the paper that direction (for example, in my printer the side of the paper facing the bottom of the printer takes the ink, so I inserted the EZ print paper smooth side down). I put in one piece of paper at a time, since this is what the instructions indicated. I only had one paper get jammed, other other 20+ feed into the printer without issue. You just need to make sure the paper lays flat in the tray.Once the pattern is printed onto the paper, let the ink dry for a minute or so. Then place your fabric on the ironing board WRONG side UP. Place the EZ print paper adhesive side DOWN on the WRONG side of the fabric (the rough/non-printed side is the adhesive side - this is the side that should touch the wrong side of your fabric). Press 2-3 seconds, slightly overlapping until the paper adheres to the fabric. Make sure you have covered all of the edges. Then cut along the lines on your template (you will be cutting through the paper and fabric at the same time. This edges of this cutout will be the final applique that goes on your quilt, so make sure to cut smoothly and to the exact size you want the final applique to be. Some templates will have a dotted line, indicating that you should cut an inch or so outside the line - read your template instructions for details. Once you have cut the applique shape, peel the paper off of the fabric. Just use your fingernail to separate the paper from the fabric on one of the edges and then the whole piece will peel off easily. The adhesive will now have transferred from the paper to your fabric, and you can throw away the paper.Place your fabric applique onto the RIGHT side of your quilting block, adhesive side down - the RIGHT side of the applique and RIGHT side of the quilting block will be facing up. If you are making an applique with several layers - such as a cat face with eyes and nose - you can put them on all at the same time. Take your time and position all fabric pieces properly, adhesive side down. Set your iron on the top of the fabric, and press and hold for ~ 6 seconds. Lift the iron and repeat, slightly overlapping over the entire applique. Once the applique is securely attached, I like to go over the whole thing one more time with the iron to make sure all of the edges, eyes, etc. are secure. Stitch around the edges of your applique, either by hand or by machine. I use a straight stitch, but you can also try zig-zag etc.Great product, gives some structure to the applique, but is not too stiff. Having the adhesive makes it so much easier to stitch without your applique sliding around.

I ordered this stuff to print a quilt pattern. It worked quite well. I had to put one piece at a time into the printer but it worked. I used heat n' bond that I had to trace onto it for the first round of patterns. This is much easier!
