A good product
Easy to install, works perfectly, no leaks.

Easy install.... Quick fix...just do not over-tighten the nut!
Glad I found an exact replacement to my existing one that was installed 10 years ago and had started showing cracks around the center nut which resulted in the bottom assembly not being tightly pulled against the bottom of the sink and causing a slow drip below sink). It was an easy replacement on my composite sink, just DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN the center nut. Though I bet that after initial install you should check if the nut needs to be snugged up again after a few weeks as I figure that the plastic ring starts shaping into the sink bevel contour. I did not use any plumbers putty (per instructions, just the used the foam white washer that came with the top assembly and the black rubber washer for the bottom assembly). I do wish though that the top assembly were made a little Pro-sumer grade as the plastic around the fastening nut seems to be a weak point. From an overall design perspective, this is by far better system than the one piece strainers that you have to secure with a huge nut from the bottom.

Good, but feels flimsy
Works fine in all ways, but don't expect that 'solid feeling' you used to get with the old school baskets that had some metal parts.The plug is very lightweight and easy to dislodge out of place, so until you learn to be more careful with it, you may knock it loose and lose water

Received product within the time frame specified. Installed 2 sink strainers in less that an hour. Had no problem. But NOTE: used plumbers putty around the 'lip' of the sink strainer in order to properly seal and to reduce the risk of lip breakage. Don't over tighten...merely snug. Otherwise very good product. It replace a strainer made of painted metal, which is no good...paint peels off and strainer looks like &^%(

Cannot recommend
This item is attractive looking . Installed in sink. Used twice to do hand washing and it functioned well. On the third use it failed. Initially I thought there was a leak in the sink pipe. It turned out to be that part of the lip separated from the body of the sink strainer, allowing water to cascade down the pipe to the cabinet bottom. It might be a defective piece. My husband noted however that the material on the lip is very thin but it should stand up to more than 2 uses.

Minor irritant with vibrating strainer during draining.
Looks good in new Corian sink that is white and made as part of the kitchen cabinet. Easy to install. Only problem is when you lift and turn to strain water as it drains, the strainer vibrates and jumps up and down from the force of the water flow.

Nice Laundry Tub Drain
The laundry tub drain looks nice and does the job it is intended to do. It fit perfectly in the laundry tub we purchased and has been working well for some time now. Inexpensive addition!
