It's OTC what else is there to say. Metals are top notch with a great finish & when tapped it rings like a bell. Nobody in my town sells these types of pullers. I was glad to get this quick easy. Worked great for my job.

Used for pulling gears at work. Has not broken in 3 years so seems good. Make sure to oil pulling rod.

I bought this to pull flywheels of two cylinder commercial lawn mowers. The H bar is heavy duty and is 8 inches long but the flywheels that I needed are 9 inches with pull slots on the sides. So I drilled two 5/16 holes on the ends and used two grade 8 bolts so I could use swing arm pullers and it worked great. This is a great puller that comes with center cone bushing so you don't mar the end of the screw rod.

I needed to pull a propeller shaft coupler off a tappered SS 25mm shaft. The 522 has a long 3/4" drive shaft with a pointed tip for centering on your work. The tool was perfect for the job after I got a machine shop to cut down the length of the tools drive shaft. I'm guessing I was able to get about 10 + tons of tension using a cheater bar. Be carefull if you have to hit the tools drive shaft as it deforms readily. With a combination of tension from the tool and me pounding on the tools drive I actually mushroomed the propeller shaft. Luckly, I was able to clean up the threads. The tool is well made, and the slots adapt it to any number of applications (as long as the bolt patterns are symetrical). Don't forget to lube the drive shaft and protect from impact.
