Best comic actually faces a new issue
In todays society women cry about someone saying something and label it as rape, but the real issue of today is that men still get raped and the news, newspapers, and so on don't talk about it. Here (spoiler alert) The protagonist gets raped and is told to man up. Also he has to hide it because he's a man. It's a very deep comic, and the first I believe in anything to talk about this sort of ideal. Much Respect to Robert Kirkman.Feminist I believed tried hating on this book deeming that it makes women look bad or something I believe. So women can false claim rape , use media on just words, or without evidence get a man in trouble, but men can't say anything about it?It happens to both sexes and its a serious issue. Their are older women and men raping men. It goes unreported and I am glad their is a medium for men and boys out their of a superhero that is going through it as well. So they can feel empowered and say hey invincible went through it I can to or a male character that has been raped that I can just relate to..

He’s just a thing that’s lost his way
Well, this was certainly one of the faster chapters I’ve read. The events in this just felt so snappy and incredibly impactful. The subversive nature of how the events play out is what makes this series so amazing. This book has it in spades. It never feels forced or unearned.

Return to form
I haven't been a big fan of Robot's swerve to the dark side or the many stupid things Invincible himself has done of late but barring that, Robot's attempt to takeover the Earth was very well done. There's a cool Godfather like homage as his many Robots go around taking down the opposition. The alternate dimension storyline was also nicely pulled together. I hope we get to see how that version of Robot is doing since the outcome somewhat parallels what's happening in the main dimension. We also get the many things that make Invincible unique among mainstream superhero comics, surprising levels of bloodshed, limbs being ripped off, the death of some well liked characters, and something I don't think we've seen before outside of indie fare, a woman raping a man (no graphic nudity but there's no doubt as to what's happening). I'm curious whether this will be considered controversial - though the rapist is hardly shown to be a good person, still.Given where the book leaves off, I'm not sure where it will go. Usually superhero universes stay very close to our own despite the incredible technology and abilities of the heroes, everything else is mostly the same to keep it relatable. I don't see how that can happen here so I'm curious to see where Kirkman takes it.
