Nice idea, doesn't fit UK kitchen sink waste.
There is an Oxo strainer that does fit, but cannot be a Watergate plug stop. Would not recommend in the UK. Was very nicely made, just a shame it was too deep fitment.

Sadly too deep for my sink.
Nice item and looks well made.Unfortunately it was too deep for the plug hole.This might be someting to do with it coming from America.Had to return.

Does not fit the sink
Looked good and solid but didn’t fit my sink. Try to return it but the cost of shipping it back was not worth it, as it was to America.

It doesn't fit English sinks and would feel a rip off even if it did
It's a sink drainer. It catches the plate detritus, while letting the water out, and is easy to clean. That bit works fine. But it won't work as a plug for a standard English sink because when you use that function, it becomes too tall. It's imported from the US which may explain why it's so stupidly expensive, at £23 (it would seem stupidly expensive even if both its functions worked). The exact same model is under ten dollars on the US site which seems a more sensible price.

Doesn't fit standard UK drains!!!
It says that these fit nearly all drains but it doesn't fit any of my recently installed UK sink drains. It is too deep with the cover and just wobbles around without the cover. Absolutely USELESS and EXPENSIVE.

Well made and exactly as described but actually no mor convenient in use than much cheaper ones.
