netBooter NP-05B Remote Switched PDU with 5 Power Outlets, 120V/15A. Control via Web, telnet, or USB

Bought this PDU for work on the personal Amazon account so we could get it faster. It does exactly what I needed to do which is allow for scheduled reboots on a particular plug and to log in through the web interface and reboot certain devices. It's used at remote facility and works great.

Excellent product. It literally takes 5minsor so to set up. The configuration is web based and includes a lot of features/possibilities. The outlets can be individually switched on/off. I also found the response time to a power on/off command to be very fast. This is a product I will buy again when the need arises. Finally this product is made in America!

There are only three things I would change on this thing. First, it comes with DHCP disabled. You can enable it without a console but it's tricky. I'd rather it attempt DHCP and then go to a static IP if it fails. Second, you can't set them up to work in groups. Third, you can't save/load the config from the GUI. All rather specific issues on what is otherwise a brilliant unit with an affordable price. It takes about 10 minutes for me to set one up and have it ready to deploy. It has an API which works primarily through specially formatted HTTP GET requests so it'll work with almost any project in any language you got. If you just want to control it, the GUI and console features get you by just fine.

These are built well and have an easy to use local LAN API, no cloud needed.

Does exactly what it needs to. I can know remote in on a PC on my network and reboot important computers if they freeze up when I am out of the office. Keeps me from having to drive 60 miles round trip just to reboot a PC or two.

Easy to set up. Easy to get connected through a user-friendly web interface. Works perfectly. Excellent technical support engineers. I was delighted, when support taught me, how to combine multiple (2) outlets pairing (to boot server with multiple power supplies).

Does what it's supposed to do, but the instructions are quite incomplete and far from easy to understand, unless you're a network engineer. I can access the device from my local network, but haven't figured out how to do so from the outside.

We bought this and a competitor unbranded product. Our active monitoring discovered that the competitor product was getting used in a DDoS attack and we had to shut it off. So glad this one is working great!
