I'm very happy with this trimmer. The battery lasts a long time, and I can use without shaving cream. This is my 2nd purchase of this device. Previously it used proprietary adapter for charging, but it now uses USB c (which is great!)

So I’ve ordered 3 beard trimmers from Amazon. Panasonic has an amazing reputation in this segment but compare to Braun and suprent . Suprent was the best ,Here’s why-1. Adjustable head can not be pressed down and move while it’s on which is an added cost for Panasonic and Braun .2.Panasonic 20 hrs to get 50 min charge time!!! That’s so 1980 while the others charge within an hour for 40 to 60min charge. Suprent 60min to get 1 hr use.3. Plastic head for Panasonic and blade mount vs steel on the rest. Again suprent is better4. battery indicator level vs non for braun and Panasonic.5. Additional head adjustment from 11mm to 20mm with .5 mm increments!For those reasons I’ve choose the suprent instead of these one. Ohh it’s also water proof

I just got this beard trimmer, so I can't speak to the longevity of the battery, durability, etc. However, this trimmer gets a lot of things right. After having the guard pop off a trimmer causing a minor "beard casualty" a couple of times, I decided I needed something better. This trimmer checks most of the boxes: rechargeable, USB C, dial length adjustment, battery status display, stainless steel blades, and waterproof. The blades seem sharp and the guards seem stable with lots of adjustment 1-20mm, so from 4/100s of an inch to 8/10s of an inch. It seems to work well and I like the design of the guards (plus the fact there are only two of them.) The issues I have are: no where can I seem to find what battery technology is being used - not on the packaging or on the Amazon product page. I found a site that is selling the same trimmer and indicates it has a lithium ion battery, but not having it show up anywhere on the packaging or instructions is suspect. Also, there is no case, pouch, etc. which is desirable for something you use while traveling. Finally, I worry that the 5V 1A USB C input might not have smart power management which could limit the power adapters that would work with the razor without potential damage. So far as a trimmer it is great, I just wish the manufacturer would consider being a little more forthcoming about the battery and power limitations.

Good quality with a simple trim depth dial that works well. Fair price.

if you’re a dedicated beard-wearer, it’s happened to you at least once: clipper length slips or is set wrong mistakenly and you trim all the way down to your face that hasn’t felt fresh air in months or years.happened to me the other day for the first time in years. my original trimmer from this company had failed me. quickly went from the intended 8mm to 1mm to my horror and dismay.though it might not be time for me to trim a beard for another week or two, i quickly ordered a replacement trimmer. could’ve been a “fool me twice” situation, but i repeated the same trimmer. i think the length mechanism got messed up by me dropping it, though in these reviews it seems the company is very generous with sending replacement units.i considered alternative options from bigger name companies but the previous one served me well for over two years and the price was right.was expecting practically an identical trimmer but was excited to find they made some updates since the last time. the clippers are improved, the motor strength and the on/off button mechanism is improved too.I rolled the dice and was happy with the outcome. if this new one lasts me another two years without disaster i’ll be pleased

ok trimmer. bought this august 2019. the plastic guard is junk. after 2 uses. i trim my beard once a week. the guard cracked. i glued it and it lasted about 2 more uses and cracked again. now one of the tines have broken off. i use 1 time per week and store it in a hygiene bag in a drawer so i’m not sure how it broke. went to amazon to buy a new guard. they sell the replacement guard. hmm probably because it’s junk. the last trimmer i had lasted 10 years no problems WAHL. going to go back to a WAHL. pure junk guard.update: was contacted by email from a SUPRENT repMessage from seller SUPRENT:Dear james,Thanks for your response and support on us. Looking forward to your reply！Have a nice day!SUPRENT Support Teami told them i didn’t want a replacement just reimburse me and i’ll send the trimmer to them. they said no keep it we will reimburse you for all you have paid for and your shipping and you can keep the trimmer. i agreed. it’s now 1/21/2020 and i haven’t received my reimbursement. tonight i get another email identical to the first email. at this point i’m done, stay away from this product and company. this trimmer is junk and they’ve waisted my time and haven’t delivered the compensation for their poor product. they have no idea what good customer service is.
