Excellent product, happy to have purchased
It's been a week since I have started using it, very happy with it's performance, noise less. had a couple of power cuts, the transition was instant, TV was running and we did not even notice the power cut. Ideal for a double bedroom house.Had issue with it's Bluetooth connetivity, raised complaint with customer care and service engineer was present the next day itself, even though he could not find a solution immediately, was happy with their prompt response.Bluetooth connetivity did not happen instantly, had trouble connecting with my mobile, but finally doneRecommending to go for it

Awful service. Just awful service. Don't buy, or you'll suffer.
I got this model because it looks good, and I wanted Bluetooth connectivity so I can check up on various parameters. Unfortunately the power button of the unit that I received was faulty, and I wasn't able to get the Bluetooth to work as a result (however the unit is always turned on). I contacted customer support, hoping to resolve this issue via getting the power button replaced, instead of returning this back to Amazon. But my God, their service is so pathetic. This literally has to be the company with the worst service in India. Their staff in the customer support helpline are always very helpful and apologize all the time, but their ground staff simply never pick up their phones, for days. They do pick it up when we call from a different number, so you know they're simply dodging you.We live in Chennai, and the main support helpline gives us the number for the service center in Chennai. They keep saying "service center", but what they're really doing is giving you the cellphone number of some people in Chennai. And these morons never pick up their phones. They sometimes reply with "Can't talk now, will call you back later". Seriously? How am I supposed to even lodge my complaint? So finally I had to shout at someone at main support hotline, and finally they took down the complaint themselves and assigned us a complaint ID. These mysterious support center people arrived a few days later, and promised to come back with a power button. It's been over a week and they simply refuse to pick up their phones. So on day 10, when Amazon's return policy ends, I ended up returning this product. So to summarize,PROs:+ Good looking product+ Good set of featuresCONs:- Awful/near non-existent service. If your inverter stops working, God help you- The inverter connectors spark when connecting the terminals to the battery. However I think this was because of the power button getting stuck in the ON position in my unit. I don't know how prevalent this issue is. I do understand manufacturing issues happen once in a while.Dear Luminous, if you're reading this, these are the people who are involved, who probably need to be replaced. Please fix the culture in your company. It is not sufficient to create good looking products. You need to have a service-oriented culture:Bipin - Call CenterSrinath - Service Center ManagerRaju Chandran - Assigned engineer who never answers the phone calls. What an awful company. I'm going to next try the V-Guard Smart Pro inverter, they also have the bluetooth function, and I do hope their service is better; it's hard to imagine a company that can have worse customer care, so I feel reasonably confident.

Good Inverter with a couple of Hiccups
I read a lot of negative reviews about this Inverter and was skeptical about buying but my experience with it has been surprisingly good.My Inverter Setup :1. Luminous Zelio 1100i2. Homemade 12V LiFePO4 Battery (Haven't used a Lead Acid Battery)3. Connected to 3 phones with the Zelio-i AppReview :1. Although I haven't used a Lead Acid Battery with the Inverter (which Luminous recommends), I still am able to run it just fine off of a homemade 12V 216Ah LiFePO4 battery.2. The connection of the Inverter with the Zelio-i Application was pretty straightforward and easy to do. I have thus connected it on the phones of all my family members. (A Redmi phone with 2GB RAM, A Motorola X4 with 4GB RAM and a Realme X7 Max with 8GB RAM).3. The application itself is pretty minimalistic and clean which I absolutely love but it still is a little buggy specially on the 2GB RAM phone but it gets the job done.4. Noise from the Inverter is quite low actually and the hum fr the transformer is ther but barely noticeable.5. I have used the SMF charging profile to charge my LiFePO4 battery and it has been charging at 14.5A for quite a while now. Which is close to the company's claim that the inverter has a max charge current of 15A.Miscellaneous :For people wanting to make their own battery packs, you can totally use this with self-made packs although I would suggest using LiFePO4 cells instead of Li-Ion cells as they closely match the voltage profile of Lead Acid Batteries and would suit the inverter better. But be sure to use a Battery Management System.I have made use of 144 LiFePO4 32700 cells in a 4S 36P configuration. Each cell has nominal voltage of 3.2V and 6000mAh capacity. Thus providing a pack of 12.8V and 216Ah in capacity. The entire battery build cost me about INR 26,000 which is close to what a similar capacity Lead Acid Battery would cost. But the LiFePO4 batteries have longer life. For more details on how to make the battery contact me on e-mail : [email protected]
