Love this little radio! Everything works, including the alarm. I like that it has three ways to recharge it. Must have for a bug out day.

Shipper delivered on time and protected, no damage. For the price point, this little radio, not too small, is a great investment. AM, FM Weather NOAA, and Short Wave. Digital Tuner, way better than Analogue. Easy to use. Inside, the 12000 Mah Lipo battery can provide hours of reception, and there are more power options, like the AA Batteries, Solar, Crank options. While crank and solar create marginal power, the Lipo Battery converts to the AA Batteries as it drains. All the additional features work, like the Flashlight, Reading light, SOS, USB, and Micro Chargers for phones etc. I was surprised. Now for Reception. Inside the house, the Digital tuner brought in FM Stations, yet not AM or Weather. Stepped on my patio, pointed the antenna towards the transmission towers, and boom. Four really strong AM Stations, and a very clear strong signal for the Weather in my area. As for Short Wave, I really don't understand the complexities of this band. Further research is needed, but couldn't pick up any signal strength. I bought this for Emergency situations, so the sound and volume are good, don't expect a Bose Stereo. Finally, considering the small size, this is not the Transistor radios of the past. Nice radio, many features, and weather alerts. I will only use for Emergency situations, I like a little better sound when listening to music, yet a must have when the lights go out. The reason for 4 stars vs 5? Lipo Battery took a long time to charge. However, 12000 Mah is a big Lipo for a small radio. Once charged fully, it should charge faster the next time. Stay safe everyone.

This is going to be a comprehensive, detailed review of the Rocam Emergency Hand Crank Portable Radio Solar Power AM/FM/SW/NOAA Weather Radio with 2000mAh Power.Radio: The Radio itself is great. It's light-medium weight, but very portable. It has a strap which you can quickly use for carry on or strap on. The actual Radio has 2 frequencies of AM and PM. While I do have to say that the sound quality can have a bit of a crackle or is a bit wonky sometimes, overall it still works great. There are a lot of switches to customize sound, amp, and tuning in general which you can see from the pictures.Compass: There is a handy compass feature which helps you during emergencies which is what this radio is designed for: Handy during emergencies. The Compass is not digital and instead stationed on top of the actual radio and will adjust automatically towards direction.Power: As the title says there is 2000 mAh Power. It is very powerful and powers the radio. There is room for batteries in the back as well. The flashlight in the front is very powerful, and uses the power of solar/sun from what I heard as well so that's a really neat eco feature. 2 USB chargers in the back to help charge your phone or device!Light: The light's are super powerful, you got handy indicators to show when everything is powered up and gauges and stuff(all tunable). The flashlight especially is a beast and can light up a big area even if it's super dark out. Very powerful. Has an SOS feature to help call for help and light is adjustable for brightness.Portability/Instructions/Misc: Portable, The instructions are long and sometimes confusing, but honestly you can figure it out yourself most of the time. There is also an antenna connected to the radio for reception. The title might also be misleading. It is both an actual radio but also has features for emergencies, when purchasing I thought this was only for emergencies so the radio was a nice bonus.TLDR: Light-Med Weight, Compass, Flashlight, Adjust ability/Customize , AM/PM Radio, Strap to hang, Antenna, Various Lights and Features, Solar Power, USB connector ports in the back, Digital/Physical Displays...etc. If you are looking for a Radio/Emergency Backup Power/Navigation- This product is affordable and will serve you well!
