EvoShield PRO-SRZ Protective Wrist Guard

Our son caught high school pitchers who throw a lot faster and harder last year in varsity and he has had no issues at all. Thus guard saved his thumb.

Absolutely love these guards for our son. Be mindful that they only come with one guard in a package, so if you're looking for two guards, make sure you order two. Easy to mold, they provide a video tutorial that is extremely helpful and easy to follow. We did have an issue with the molding in his right wrist falling out of the sleeve, but we simply sewed the guard into the sleeve and problem solved.

I got this for my son (who had recently had a buckle fracture of his wrist) to wear while playing baseball. We were afraid that a fastball off the wrist would put a serious damper on his summer baseball plans. The band is snug, but it needs to be. There is a small pocket inside where you slide the piece that will protect the arm. It starts out as soft, but it hardens with air. We made sure it was set over the part of his wrist to be protected so it would conform to that part of his arm. We had him wear it on a 45 min car ride and it was set by the end of it. It is light but very strong. So far no fastballs have tested it, but it’s better to be safe.

The wrist guard has been updated since the last series and to be honest it works in some areas and doesn't work in others. It works in the fact that it's a little bit thinner so it's more breathable, I kept getting a rash from the previous version because the neoprene was thick. It doesn't work in that it feels like it's going to move around and shift. I've used it in 3 games so far and I haven't had any problem with it moving so it could all me be in my head. The stitching leaves a lot to be desired. The pull tab for the guard is already starting to come undone. It's no be deal but you kind of want your money's worth. I haven't taken all hits to it directly (knock on wood) as I play 1st base and use it to protect my wrist from bad hops but it seems like it's provides the great evoshield protection. The measurements are the same as the last series so it should fit the same. But I think due to it being thinner it feels bigger, but it's not really. Like I said it could all be in my head. I just hope that it doesn't fall apart on me. Only time will tell.

These protectors allow for custom molding of the wrist to protect baseball players from getting hit by the ball. It's a definite must have great quality and very tight fit.

Got this for my son who plays catcher a fair amount on his baseball team. He's 13 so there are a few balls in the dirt! When he blocks them now his wrist is protected if that happens to be where he gets hit.

Great product and cheaper than the athletic stores in town.
