Worked on 1997 Yamaha 60
These say they're for larger motors but they fit my yamaha 3cyl just fine. I replaced all 3 with these and haven't had any issues. All 3 came with the plug boots and ends.

YUP!
This thing is great. I've only got about 10 hours on it, but it's been fantastic. I've purchased an OEM replacement to put on, and this will become a spare. At this price point, it's hard to pass up. 10/10 would purchase again.

Works well.
I used a new set of these on a 1997 Yamaha 115 (V4 engine). They work well. The problem I had with them is that the fitment on the engine block was not very good. The coils look almost exactly like Yamaha, but the plastic mounting tang on the part itself was made a little too narrow to fit correctly. What I did was to shave the underside tab on the mounting side (they are made to mount either left or right) so that the tab would tighten flush onto the block, and make a tight connection with the ground wire. It's not hard to do the modification with side cutters and a utility knife, but the part should have been made to fit properly. Once they fit, they worked well. It's a good idea to put in fresh plugs if they haven't been changed in a while, as old plugs with a big gap can lead to failure of these coil units. For less than 1/4 the cost of OEM, I am happy with these overall.

Stalls at higher speeds
Installed new wires and coils starts up just fine throttles up good until it gets closer to full throttle then it will completely shut down. It doesn't even make sense to me because I've run the same motor on a missing plug and it will still run. The only thing i can think is that the coils can't take the pressure. You tell me.

Doesn't come with the boot as pictured
The unit seems to work fine, but the boot for the sparkplug is not included. Buyer beware- you'll have to go purchase separately

Missing parts
Ordered 6 coils for my Yamaha VMax 200. One of the coils is missing the spark plug boot and connectors. Guess I will be returning.
