Easy to install.
This controller is awesome. Was easy to install and I’m pretty impress. I installed knockoff controllers in a friend boat and they’re not even close to the capability of this thing. Impressed. Worth the extra $20-30 bucks for sure!!!

Disappointed... absolute junk
GARMIN LEDs inspeakers look very nice but this control is awful!Will pair successfully but then neither the on nor off button do anything. ( transmit light remains off) The remote can transmit to change modes but if I select "continuously ON" I am only able to select red blue colors the rest of the selection dial does nothing.The entire device is cheaply made and neither the control unit nor the remote are water proof. Even if the functions worked correctly the lifetime will be very short on a saltwater boat.VERY disappointed... Come on guys! I expected better from GARMIN!

Item is good, but not great.
Item is good, but not great. When you have the remote in your hand it seems cheap. And the functions are limited. In the future, I might consider a control with more functions. It is also difficult to figure out how the change the modes, or even which mode the control box is currently set to. This does not sync to the speaker lights to the music, the rhythm of the lights is limited to the preset modes that are in this control box. Next time I will get a different brand, where the the control can actually sync the speaker lights to the beat of the music that is being played. See I bought fusion speakers, I thought I would get the matching fusion controller.

almost burned down my boat!!!!!!
MELTED!!!!! Almost caused fire. Worked great for about two days and then the lights started to flash on and off during the day.......we weren't sure what was going on but that night we looked under the center console and the box was melted and the inside of the console was melted and not far from possibly causing a MAJOR fire. VERY disappointed because I just want my boat speaker lights :( I will be contacting GARMIN for a replacement but now I'm scared our boat will catch fire.

Does the trick. But no better than the rest.
It works just great. But if you are looking for a better quality than the others here on Amazon, ya wont. It’s the same box just painted black with a fusion sticker on the bottom.
