Excellent product. Just what we needed to extend the shower arm for our new hand held shower head. The quality is very good and there was no problem with the easy install. The price was very fair and the service was good as well. It comes with a warranty as well. Buy with confidence

Great quality !
No leaks whatsoever, I didn't have high hopes for quality because of the price but it holds up my oversized rainfall showerhead wonderfully.

Seems well-built, the lock nut design could be an issue for some
I didn't know it would possibly be an issue, I didn't even notice the "lock nut" part of the item's title. But, once received and installed, I realized how it could be an issue. The lock nut means the extension has the potential to be angled weird once tightened. When my extension was tightened, it was at a 10-15 degree angle. I added 6 layers of teflon tape and that was way too much. I ended up with 1-2 wraps of teflon tape and I got my extension tightened straight.If you have issues with the extension tightening at a bad angle, try playing around with teflon tape to create a tight seal at the proper angle.

Short people you need this
I needed this item as I have a hand held shower head I needed installed. If I installed it directly to the wall pipe I would have needed a step stool to reach. Not handy in a shower. Lol. When you attach the extension to the wall pipe then put the hand held shower head on the extension and I can now reach it with no worries about slipping. Was easy to install and no leaking of water.

Poor Design
I really wanted to like this as I just moved into a house with a really short shower head. This unfortunately didn't solve the problem because you have to twist it onto the fixed wall pipe, and for me when it was tight, it was leaning at a significant angle. If I put it straight up as it should be it was too lose and just fell down, so that wouldn't work. Rather than having a nut on the end that you twist to tighten onto the wall pipe you have to twist the entire arm, so you're at the mercy of the threading on the wall pipe to determine if it's tight when it's straight up and down or not. It didn't work on my shower due to this, as shown in the photo. I ended up going with a different one that had an extra piece allowing you to tighten it at any angle.

This product is well worth the money it gives you the ability to adjust your shower head in just about any position you like without worrying about a product being stuck to your shower wall and worried about it falling off, my lower back is loving it.😀
