Pricey, but the best out there.
Pricey for such a little jug, but way better then Honda's. Bought locktite because it has more moly for less price.

Pricey but very good
A bit pricey but this stuff is a true paste and once applied it stays put. A stiff brush for applying it is built into cap. The container contains what will likely be a lifetime supply of product for the DIY mechanic. Good for stuff like half shaft cv joints (vw super beetle), final drive shaft splines (Yamaha Virago shaft drive). Suggest you wear some old throwaway clothing and nitrile or latex gloves, this stuff turns up in the darndest places when used.

High quality moly paste
A must have for any ST1300 owner

Good for driveline splines on Yamaha FJR1300.
I used this as a replacement for the Honda lube paste that has changed in the recent years and is not the same formula.

Replacement for Honda M77
First - this paste also goes by the name Loc-Tite LB8012; that's what I received in the mail. I'm not a materials scientist. I'm not going to even pretend to know anything about it's properties other than I was told by a veteran mechanic that this should be used in place of Honda M77. It also has a 60% or more moly content (it could be higher, check the data sheet). Apparently, there have been reports that M77 loses it's lubricity and can cause extensive damage to the splines of a shaft driven motorcycle. For $50 and piece of mind - it was worth it to me. If you are garage mechanic, you will probably have enough of this stuff to last you a life time and accommodate any friends who ask you for "moly paste" (which should be close to never).Comes with a brush attached to the cap.

Use on half-shaft splines into hub
Some mention the (bent) brush. Products from the "60's had the angled brush in cap. My personal thought for the design is to help stir and mix the formula a little from settling when turning cap in and out of the container.

Use for breaks maintenance
There is nothing more frustrating than finding that your break pads need replacement ahead of expected service interval due to uneven wear.I use this product to lubricate brake pad bearing surfaces that slide into the caliper.Such lubrication provides smooth operation of pads when breaking and releasing brakes.Proper maintenance of caliper pins and break pad shoulder lubrication ensures effective brake operation. This, in turn, assures even wear on break pads to give them the maximum life.Moly grease is high temperature thus it is very appropriate for this purpose and recommended by some brake parts manufacturers. only very minor amount needs to be applied and after checking breaks several months later the pads are still moving very well.

Anti-seize Molybdenum disulfide for home auto repairs
One jar of molybdenum disulfide is all you need for one lifetime's worth of home auto maintenance, snow blower repair etc. It's pricey and I prefer a metal can to a plastic jar but it is the product for preventing threads from seizing. Whether its for your spark plugs or other nuts and bolts you want to come apart again, this is anti-seize the pros use. Think the opposite of LocTite and you have anti-seize or molybdenum disulfide. Sheer essence is not a term I would use to describe this thick thread protector.
