A mid-range card - good performance and no issues 2 years on
Like another person on here I bought this during the height of COVID - I was planning on building a gaming PC prior to my daughter being born but also I wanted a better computer to WFH so getting a decent CPU was important but not the main driver. I don't get to play much so I would consider myself a casual gamer (kids keep you busy), I wanted good quality 1080p performance and even games coming out now like Forza Horizon 5 have no issue running at high settings, 1080p 60fps (I too only have a 60Hz monitor). What I would say though is that the current price is significantly more than I paid - I paid £220 brand new in June 2020 and this particular Gigabyte version is currently £350+ (as of September 2022) - I got a bargain in retrospect and I think if I was buying now I would be shopping around more for 1660 supers from other manufacturers if I really wanted this particular GPU. Also it seems like the supply of GPUs at normal prices might be returning soon as crypto mining seems to be settling down (lets see how this statement ages) and as pressure eases on those top end cards it might bring mid to low tier card prices down too. So unless you really need to get a card, this card, right now, it might be worth waiting a bit.In terms of set up I paired this card with:Ryzen 5 36002 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR 3200 MHzCrucial MX500 500GB SSD (later replaced with a Crucial P5 1TB) + 2TB Seagate HDDMaybe this will be helpful to someone.

Best value per £
Replaced my gtx 970 for Gigabyte 1660 super.Vast improvement. I am assuming you have already checked some benchmarks on-line.It can run modern AAA games easily 1080p/60fps.Probably best value per £ at the moment. Got it for 205£ and even sold my 970 so best buy possible.Highly recommended for a mid tier gpu. 2060 super costs around 400£...On my not the best airflow case with only 1 back fan, I get around 49 degrees with fans being idle.Fans will start spinning somewhere after 51 degrees + but they are not noisy.Actually you won't even pay attention with in game music and is even more quiet than my 970.I believe you can adjust fans to spin constantly as well with MSI afterburner but I like them being completely quiet when idle. My max temp was around 70 degrees on 2000rpm.Highly recommended for a mid tier gpu.

Pound for Pound champion.
This is a great GPU, for a budget build you don't get a better FPS to £ ratio.A very capable card.Great thermals.Nice and quiet.Plays most Titles at 1080p on ultraand even some a 1440p.Gigabyte is not the best 1660 super you can get but for the price it can't be matched.on a downside my box was a little beat up but that's on the guy who delivered it.end of the day the GPU was not damaged in any way and that's what counts.

Great card to a oc and good value
Great card, upgrade from old 770 gtx. Perfect for a medium build gaming pc. I have been able to oc this card to a 2115ghz boost clock and memory +700mhz in msi afterburner. The main thing holding it back is the power being limited to 150w, +20%. Probably not w9rth going too far with the oc for an extra couple of fps, very pleased with the oc. Gigabyte is a really good brand for cards and mobos along with msi.In 3d Mark was able to get 9% on the base clock setting which already has a boost.

Its not the best model in terms of build quality but still its a 166p super
It does perform well as its a 1660 super in terms of performance its very acurate and its very affordable but the noise levels could not be the best (my opinion) so i've returned mainly because it had a slight rattling soung when playing games... if you looking for a gaming GPU its worth to put alitle bit more money and go for a model with a better build quality / better cooling system...At this price point its definitely worth to extend the budget and go for an RTX 2060

Consistent 40-65 fps in AAA Ultra 1080p games
The GTX 1660 Super OC 6GB was a huge upgrade from my GTX 1050 2GB. This card gives consistently good frame rates in AAA games at 1080p. For example in Red Dead Redemption 2 on Ultra settings at 1080p with a Ryzen 1600, it gives 48-65fps average and never dropped below 32fps. However if you already have a 980 or 1080 then unsurprisingly this won't outperform it, neither is it a huge step up from 1060 or even the vanilla 1660; it's a 60-series card, although a very good one;. Also I would imagine that you'd have to knock the settings down for 1440p gaming. For 1080p gaming, though, I strongly believe the 1660 Super is the best graphics card around the £200 mark in early 2020, and the professional head-to-head reviews at this time seem to agree. You can game with all the settings at max and still get very acceptable framerates.

Outstanding value for money - happily runs 1080p on Ultra or 4k on Medium settings
Don't listen to people who paid out a month's rent for an RTX 2080 (don't they love telling you this?) - this card is the best bang for buck in the GPU market right now for those of us with bills to pay ;)With my 9 year old motherboard (yes) and 7 year old CPU (I know) I can run games in 1080p with everything on max and 4K quite happily if you prefer crips visuals to post-processing effects. It will also run 2 instances of the same game on high settings and manage near enough 60FPS on BOTH simultaneously. Now stock is back and people can't justify silly prices for this you should snap one up and future proof your gaming PC for a good 3 years or so.
