Once I decided I wanted a flagpole for my home, I started my search. I knew I didn't want one of those cheap sets you find at the big box stores-skinny poles and Chinese flags....on the opposite side of the spectrum, a commercial-grade pole would be nice, but the cost of a one piece 20' pole would be twice the cost of this one....and they need to be truck shipped as well.The Titan Telescoping Flagpole is a nice compromise for the homeowner. It's made of strong 6061 T6 anodized aluminum. The base of the pole is 3", and the top is 1.75", giving the pole a nice tapered appearance.I was weary of a telescoping pole. We've all struggled with telescoping items before that have troublesome push buttons. The Titan does away with them. The collars lock with a 1/4 turn of the pole. Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to use--it's self indexing and positive locking.The method of attaching the flags is with swivel rings that rotate 360 degrees with stainless steel snaps. No halyard to tangle or wear out. Two flags can be flown at once, or one flag may be flown at half-staff. A really well thought out design.The pole is delivered with a made in the USA 4'x6' flag with embroidered stars and sewn flags.The pole has a 7 year warranty. (The longest I've seen for a telescoping pole.)Installation is a bit of a chore. The hardest part is that you need to dig a hole 12" wide by 28" deep. Once the hole is dug, you'll need 20lbs of gravel, and approx. 150 lbs of concrete. A post hole digger and a level are the only "specialized" tools you really need. The average person can do the job in a few hours.The pole comes with a PVC sleeve that gets set in the above mentioned hole. This makes removing the pole very easy.All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a good looking pole and seems like it should hold up for a good, long time.

I live on a hill and experience very windy conditions most of the time. I found this pole very easy to install. The hardest part was digging the hole.Pros: Very sturdy and able (so far) to endure strong windseasy to assemble and install.appealing to the landscapeFlag does not wrap around the pole and not having a rope to raise and lower that gets tangledCons: Pole spins in base when trying to lower polein high winds flag folds upon itself horizontally and looks more like a streamerI have recommended this product to other people

Considering we knew we had to dig a hole, installation was easy. The pole and flag looks nice. The flag does get twisted around the pole but always works itself out. In moderate wind the pole does flex. We will see how it holds up.

the heavy construction of the pole, it is not flimsy. the locking mechanism of the pole sections is fool proof.i love this pole it is worth every penny.

I did lots of research on flagpoles before buying this one. I wanted something that looked great, was study and that was made in America. This flagpole cost more then some others but the build quality seems to surpass any of the others. It does not use a button to extend/lower the different telescoping sections which is something i was trying to avoid as many other poles have reviews that indicate that the button mechanism fails and the pole no longer extends or the pole falls. I have received many complements on my flag but specifically how nice the pole is. Im very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. The pole looks great and was easy to install. I tried to contact the seller through Amazon with two issues to seek guidance. Amazons virtual assistant blows. The top flag wraps around the pole. How do you get this to stop? Also the wind is light today - for central Kansas. 5-10 mph wind, gusting to 20 mph. When the wind gusts the top of the pole bows. It looks like it will snap in winds above 35 mph. I tried sending video to the seller, but once again Amazon’s virtual assistant blows. But for those two issues I’d likely give this item a 5 out of 5.

I really love the flagpole. It was very simple to install and looks great. It definitely feels more sturdy than others I’ve seen.
